just got mine today from Pulse, He's awesome, like Optimus but in purple and black not much difference on articulation or transformation, Teeth are painted white surprisingly enough, so thers 4 colors on his face. Boxy head kind of works for me with how angular the mold is. I honestly like this dude. Tolerances feel better than optimus and he didn't do that annoying come apart at the waist the prime version.

I’m as on the fence about this one as BB Movie Skywarp. Same issue in that it feels like something’s missing. Maybe silver paint on the rims?

 

Damn I regret now getting Animated Optimus instead of waiting for this. The bulkier frame fits The Motor Master much more nicely than on Optimus, like how on Animated there's characters that share a body type but its either a slimmer or bulkier version. Wonder how he looks next to OG Animated toys.

 

Any issues with the paint on the tabs on the forearms chipping from transformation? I've hesitated on transforming mine thus far because I'm a bit concerned about it not holding up.

I still think it's absolutely mental that our first Animated Decepticon figure is Motormaster. Sure, he's an easy redeco, but at the same time, he's a non-show character who existed as a convention exclusive.

...Not complaining though, a great redeco of a great figure that is characterized as a wrestling bad guy? Sign me up. Hoping the States receive him soon, he's one I'm looking forward to.

 

He definitely needs some touch ups with toy hax like the stunticon logo. Here's hoping they expand outside of Animated Prime repaints (Toxitron is a must though) and do Leader Class Lugnut or something. He's overdue.

 

According to Amazon, I should have it sometime tomorrow. So I could do the pictures when it arrives.

 

After all these years of the Motor Master being a Botcon exclusive that went for hundreds of dollars on eBay, being an unexpected last hurrah for Animated, I never thought I’d see the day that Amazon told me my order of a new mainline Animated Motor Master would arrive tomorrow.  

 

Now Hasbro do Animated Lockdown, Jazz, Hot Rod, and Arcee to be redecoed into the other Stunticons.

 

Yeah I really hope they do Animated Toxitron.

 

Just got mine! The handle of his axe has some weird residue on it that I had to scratch off. And the waist and one arm mushroom pegs had the same flashing bumps that needed to be trimmed off to rotate smoothly. But I love him. Yeah he does need a decal for his knees and feet and stunticon logo. Theres a surprising amount of movement out of that big blocky head.

Just got my figure. Bot mode feels like a total upgrade from the original, but I still prefer the originals truck mode. It's crazy that Hasbro clearly put a ton of effort into Animated The Motormaster, yet didn't give him the Stunticon Decepticon symbol. They're creative decisions are just baffling...almost like they're trolling.
