Well that second link there helps to finally give some context after the frenzy had in the CHUG speculation thread earlier this week

For context, back in February 2 sources in china reached out to me, saying this came from a hasbro asia presentation labled “Straxus”.

I never talked about it because.

    1. the way the info was sent was fishy.

    2. One the sources back peddled a week later and said it was a hoax.

To explain why I called it fake.

I hope we can see that story Bible some day. I really want to see some of the other concept art they had planned.

Holy shit! I was right about this being for the Legacy show.

If that WERE to be Straxus, why would they remold what seems to be Bulkhead for a result that's not accurate to anything?

Huh, that's really neat to see and that 'after accident' redesign is actually pretty cool. If that would've been our only Straxus I'm glad we didn't get it instead of a more traditional one, though.
It's not a Bulkhead remold just because it's got a big square chest, and it looks like it's meant to be based on the rebuilt redesign he was presumably going to get in the comic if it had continued. Not how I'd want our only CHUG Straxus figure to look but at least there was going to be a basis in fiction for it.

Looks to me as if it were to be an all-new mold.

Straxus needs to be a Galvatron remold. It's the only way to get the flying space cannon.

Right, but even then, this design, both in color and shape, doesn't resemble any version of Straxus.

Except maybe Metrowars in the arms?

Exactly - I'm sure a Marvel Straxus from Galvatron will happen, not this canceled Netflix nameslap.

Honestly I think as a gimmick it would be cool (the accident thing), but go even harder with the patchwork idea. Makova's design looks pretty... stale? Shin Unit 02, Metro from Real Steel, and dare I say it, ROTF Devastator seem to embrace it, whilst the accident design just looks like generic robot man but in different colors.

If it was just that netflix idea or IDW Straxus, that thing needs to be burnt alive on a stake.

Sure was a wild ride that I couldn't help but watch in the speculation thread, even saw accusations of A.I art (ew). But if this is apparently true, and I have no reason to suspect anyone's lying here, then I will admit it's a neat design even if it's not really Straxus in the traditional way.

I would love to see a proper Straxus from Kingdom Galvatron, hopefully the team can cook it up somewhere in a capsule or mainline series.

(Now to steal this design for my world building endeavors!)
