Wait a minute, Scourge got retooling? What could they have changed? He's normally a straight redeco of Laser Prime

Unpopular opinion round these parts but this is exactly why I hate this rigid Sunbow accuracy Hasbro has settled on. None of the G1 models are designed with the laws of physics in mind, let alone actual human(oid) anatomy! Sometimes it looks okay, but often you end up with stuff like this

My thought trajectory on Bulkhead, initially "Nah, skippable" but then...

Perhaps not but he did receive *comics* attention. James Roberts made him a popular character.

Bulkhead is boxier than that Solar Storm Grappel (not mispelled) from the Classics line 10 years ago. Just terrible.

We're literately comparing nostalgia to nostalgia. Skids and Knock Out aren't characters with active shows going on, or relevant roles in the comics. Now, while there's legacy characters I'm sure we can 100% say would sell better than others (Hasbro, give me a new Snare thanks. Gimme all of the Predators and Turbomasters despite how little they'll sell), is there enough drive out there we can 100% say a character from a show that's been off the air for 8 years is going to sell better than one who's had 30+ years marinating in nostagia for how little he showed up

And what, Knock-Out isn't running off residual popularity as well?

We're talking about two legacy characters at this point. Neither of their shows are on the air. Both are appealing just to collectors

Well yeah, but a lot more of it and more significant appearances since he's also in 1DW.

Hey, can anyone confirm that the Cyclonus repaint is based on the toy colors?

Skids look great, I really like a blue autobot, too many reds and whites. Will happily add to my collection display.

Love the idea of a G1 Bulkhead! I wish to add more favorites from other continuities to my collection like G1 Barricade!

The leakers have said that it should be Cyclonus's toy colours, unless Hasbro wants to repaint him in Armada Cyclonus colours.
I even remember reading on Twitter most were complaining about Barricade not having "To punish and enslave" on him rather than celebrating it.

It's probably just something like not wanting the vehicle to be too close to the real thing to cause legal issues, or cause it's cheaper not to (seeing as both of them lack painted rims).

What if bulkhead is a pretool for a new ironhide/ratchet mold?

    Lol

    Well... not for those two.
    Most likely Beast Hunters Prime.

Now do G1 Evac from the Universal Studios Ride, in the meanwhile will repurpose that Skids as a stand-in

I believe he previously said the removable kibble would be the front wheel and windshield portion of the bike, with that front wheel being able to split in 2 to form a look more like Road Rocket's.

So kind of like a bow and arrow out of her front half? That sounds pretty cool, a bit of a pottential Energon homage too if that's the case

No upgrade kit fix the likely problem of translucent plastic making up the top half of his alt mode, especially since actual injection mold plastic, painted upgrade sets aren't a thing anymore and all we have now is 3D printed stuff from singular people.

That's not really how that all works, though, like the blast effects from before these weapons are line wide and were probably budgeted out separately from the costs of individual figures. Removing them wouldn't mean that there's suddenly $X amount of dollars available in the budget to fill gaps or add parts to the mold.
