*Opening Bid* being the key phrase. It's not going to end less than a modern Voyager. Especially after today's reveal.

Same reason BW Inferno is a big seller on the secondary market at the moment. People are getting impatient for Generations to release one.

Apollux already said she's more Prime than anything else.

And it makes sense for Prime Arcee to have her own mould because the potential for reuses is pretty vast. There's already a Road Rocket remould coming from her, a Flareup repaint is pretty likely as well, a Flamewar retool too, hell, even a new Chromia could happen just like last time.

Could see her looking like the spiritual successor to Siege Chromia. Essentially "Earth Mode Chromia" with a Prime Arcee head.

Nah, it's just that the audience nostalgic for Animated and Prime stuff isn't quite there yet in its ability to sustain the line. This trickle of stuff now is no different than the handful of BW guys we saw during T30. Testing the waters ahead of any full "revival."

Not quite. "Skids is" is true. And Skids was meant to be a thinker. Skids thinks, therefore he is.

To be fair… AEC doesn’t have as unique an aesthetic as Animated or Prime. So it’s easier to G1ify them and they don’t change a whole lot.

Who knows. They try to squeeze as many characters out of a mold as they can. Perhaps they'll do an IDW Chromia as well.

I think the shoulder wheels do actually become the from wheels and the two "spares" fold together and rest on the back

Except Skids is not. Skids was. Because they kill him off unceremoniously the moment he shows up

Man imagine people's reaction to RtS Lugnut these days.

Any new Lugnut should just be that, again.

Skids is a little underwhelming, but pretty damn accurate - I think it's fantastic that they've let him retain his 'piece of shit' car mode, and haven't updated it to anything too flash like last time.

Bulkhead was initially a little jarring, just because I wasn't expecting such a departure. But it's actually pretty good. Not sure if I'll get him, since I've got a Prime version that works well. We'll need to see who he's a pretool for.

I’m loving the memes in this thread :lol
I dunno, my head’s cooled off a little bit today, but I guess I’m just bowled over by the sheer laziness here: Bulkhead is literally the quintessential shellformer. His whole back just pops off and becomes a clunky looking “shield” and the limbs fold out from inside and it’s done. I need zero imagination to figure out how this transforms. I’m sorry—“converts” since Hasbro is a bunch of shmucks that care more about losing their trademark than strengthening their brand. The design is ok, very bland and mediocre and not half as good as either of the original PRIME Voyager toys, it’s just the super lazy engineering here that galls me. I don’t think I’m unique here either—when it comes to these Generations toys, I expect a fun puzzle, not some action figure that sits down under a plastic bedsheet...

Word is it’s Prime..ermmm Prime. Looks like it could be the Beast Hunters version which I vastly prefer personally to the S1/2 design.

Does anyone else agree with my observations on the Energon Weapons resembling an Energon Creature's Parts? I mean, it looks like each Wave might come with a different Energon Creature. This Wave Might come with an Energon Spinosaurus.
