I see what they're going for now, basically non CHUG characters CHUGified. Skids looks a little ropy, but I love that bulkhead. I really love that bulkhead

That is why things have been proven to become popular again 30 years after initial release. Always been that way for the most part.

I mean would we even want them done in the same vain as this bulkhead? Blackout would just be a repaint of vortex, and lignut would just be a seeker but with 1 eye.

That makes no sense, why would Bulkhead then need to look the way he does but Arcee looks closer to her original Prime look

Money talks. That is all I can say. If the Prime characters get their new figures and they keep designing them then there is a market for it. If not it has nothing to do with the few people posting on this board. Matter of fact the silent majority buys the figures and gives nothing for what we say here.
And it so happens to be a majority of men in their late 30s early 40s that got the money so HasTak caters to their desires.
Be assured HasTak did their research...

Hasbro must be high or something.
Like you get Grapple Bulkhead and Jazz Knockout, but apparently an accurate Prime Arcee in-between.
Guess we may find out soon.

Well, "probably" since that's the one more similar to this Bulkhead.

And I'm cool with that since Beast Hunters Prime is the figure that brought me back to the Transformers fandom.

There's a good chance with will be my final post. This website is just too much.

That being said, Skids is by far the better of the two, highly accurate but poorly proportioned and if G1 Skids is a design you hate this is going to do nothing to change your mind, but I do appreciate that he retains his general non-soldier ultra-nerd energy and it's kind of endearing. I might get him just for how cute he is. He's got real craft beer enthusiast energy which I think works perfectly for how I see the character outside of MTMTE. He's an Autobot aligned civilian who does scientific research doing the week and makes homemade crude oil and gets baked with Beachbomber on the weekend. But he carries guns for self-defence just in case.

Bulkhead in the other hand. Oh god. He looks even worse than I was expecting and it has nothing to do with accuracy. When making a G1 Bulkhead you have a pretty cool opportunity to do literally anything you want and this was the best they could do? The proportions are even worse than on Skids and he looks totally non -threatening for a Wrecker. A vehicle front chest on this alt-mode was a terrible idea. Personally I would have had the front of the vehicle mode turn into those back things that his Animated incarnation had then just give him a different robot chest like Onslaught. if you must give him a vehicle front chest then make it fake so it at least has stood proportions.

The Minicon port though, it makes me think he's a pretool, maybe for Red Alert. That would be pretty cool.

I think Prime fans should complain so Hasbro sees what they want. I hope this version of Bulkhead completely bombs and they get a show accurate toy. This isn't the first time this has happened either. Grimlock and Slag are SS86, but have a bunch of greeble and crap that were never in the movie. Meanwhile ones like Cyclonus look amazing for the price to me. I think people want consistency with these categories.

If there were no categories, and everything was called "Transformers: Whatever the Hell We Feel Like Making" there would be a lot less room to complain.

True that g1 fans have more people with disposable income, but there are quite a few younger collectors who may not be mancave-makers but certainly have a shelf or two, and they want to see Prime. If Hasbro doesn't think there's enough of a demand, we have no shortage of G1 Voyager candidates. But if they want to market to TFP fans, they should bring their best out like they did with Kingdom.
