That's my worry. Like, I think this fits a Bulkhead, he's always been a big and tough character. But Jazz' body type does not fit Knock-Out in my mind, since Knock-Out in general should be almost like Tracks. A slick, clean vehicle mode with a fairly slender robot mode, with a lot of his kibble and vehicle mode parts going into the torso.

And for the record, I am rooting for this Bulkhead in part since it's G1-ified. I love the reinventions of characters from newer continuities to fit in with G1 stylings, and I'm hoping it gets extended to other characters I like (there's a lot of characters in A/E/C I wouldn't mind getting this treatment). But I also just like the design in general.

We'll see Laser Optimus and possibly Blaster this Friday, but those others are in later waves so don't expect them for a while.
I know, are people seriously complaining about Skids of all bots being boxy? The guy who turns into a car that's literally made of rectangles and trapezoids? (I'm not saying that as a bad thing, I love boxy 70s cars, if anything I was worried they'd round him out too much like they did the ER Datsuns.)

They're a bonus accessory. It's just the gimmick for this line. Kinda how Combiner Wars turned everyone into combiners. Or Titans Return turned everyone into headmasters.

I'm not sure how the energon weapons are out of place since we haven't really gotten what the story will be with the line. There's some kind of energon monster also. Should be interesting.

Ah, now, this one I can answer: we'd get told to shut up because Transformers is about change. Then we'd get called geewunners. And possibly dinosaurs, which'd be ironically funny in this case, if ye think about it. :p

Really wish they would have kept more aspects of Bulkheads original design. To me this just looks like bulkheads head on a couple boxes.

Any idea what the translucent blue weapons are about? Perhaps something that relates to the Energon Monsters?

I'm guessing the modular figures sold really well so HasTak are leaning in to that with modular accessories.

Also, they're toys, rule of fun and all...

    Welcome to generations?

If you wanted Bulkhead, here's a Bulkhead. Take him or leave him for what he is. There'll likely be more down the road.

Does it? Those wheels go there because that's where those wheels go on the actual real-life vehicle.

Initially bulkhead was a bit of a shock, but after looking at it a while it\'s really not that bad, it\'s kinda cool.

I don't really have any attachment to Skids as a character, but I might consider picking him up (provided he gets good reviews) because I like hatchbacks.

That Bulkhead is...not great. I like the idea (in theory) of a G1-ified Bulkhead, but IMO this isn't a great attempt at it. He doesn't have the loveable playful quality that Bulkhead should have. I think this could have been helped by making the front of the truck more rounded. He's just too square and doesn't capture the essence of the character well. That being said, Bulkhead isn't a design I've ever particularly loved, so I can't say I would have bought the toy anyway. I do feel a bit sorry for Bulkhead fans though.

And Zyuohger was 2016, so once again Hasbro is way late to the box aesthetic.

On one hand, I'm so happy this bulkhead made my choice to hunt down the takara version of Prime Bulkhead so worth it .
On the other hand, I want to forget this version of bulkhead ever exist.

Don’t get people who act like this is the first time a toy has been released that doesn’t look like it source material. The last Skids we got was very inaccurate to G1. But 5+ years later and here we are. Y’all need to calm down.

It's a good thing you had an Animated Bulkhead and two pretty good Prime Bulkheads then. Let him have a standard design.

Both figures look good. I admit, at first glance that I was a bit put off by them but after looking through all of the pictures, they both look good. Bulkhead is certainly a different take on the character but not really outside the realm of possibilities for him.

Forgot to remove the S. Everything need to fit into the G1 aesthetic so it’s only one generation, not multiple.

    Hasbro’s forgotten the S.

I'd guess that's a minority compared to the people who don't have the previous versions of all the other Prime figures and wouldn't be interested in a new show-accurate TFP Bulkhead without remakes all the other main cast members too.
