OH MAN! I totally missed that. Thanks for the heads up. I was only looking at the pictures and got the clear impression that he and Skids were the same size. Now Im happy.

Studio Series and Generations are two different lines. I wouldn't expect something like that to happen. Though Bayverse Prime's design translated to G1's style could be interesting to see. And is what Generations SHOULD be doing more of.

How the hell did they put the shield on wrong in the render?

I'm not feeling Bulkhead. They really should've given him some rounded points rather than remain dedicated to the boxy G1 aesthetic. Honestly, makes him look more like Inferno minus the ladder.

I mean, he’s obviously been in the Studio Series line plenty, regardless of whether an 86 is slapped on the package.

Ya, it’s definitely not the main issue. As you said, body proportions and various robot details are really the main problem with this thing.

They'll come in due time. Probably after a few more years when the target audience of the original run is around where the BW fans are now. Old enough to have buying power *and* kids that are dragging them back to toy aisles.

Agreed, tho my point was more how funny it would be to see the 86 line go “check out this 86 movie accurate Optimus!!” And it’s bayverse prime.

Generations at this point really isnt about anything other then G1, like even the out of G1 characters are getting G1 styled,
They really just should rename it to Regeneration 1

Loving Skids! So happy to see my ideal G1 figure team come together at last! I find Bulkhead a little odd, but not bad. Something different I suppose.

Actually, this bulk head looks more like how I image the ROTB Wheeljack to look like

    Totally!

I was willing to get that Perfect Effect Revive Prime for that reason if it wasn't so frikking expensive.

For all we know each year could be a different design style and one of the years in Legacy will have all the figures in Prime style. When WfC started did anyone expect we'd go from Cybertronian year to a pure G1 year to a Beast Wars year? Did anyone expect there to be a full year dedicated to Beast Wars after 2 decades of barely anything? I wouldn't be surprised if Prime gets a full year like Beast Wars did for Legacy year 3.
