Though I'd also add I am not surprised on Skids. Earthrise Trailbreaker and Hoist telegraphed we'd just get updated G1 designs, down to the same compromises, even if it made no sense to do so. So Skids is a straight lift of his G1 toy with articulation.

Bulkhead is really disappointing as his P:RID toy is right there! That toy is the most generations toy you'll see plopped in the middle of the highly stylized Prime toyline. You can lift that right out to Evolutions so easily. Just update that toy and you'll get a very distinctive looking character.

 

Skids is a slam dunk for the WFC line and is an auto buy.

Bulkhead is litterally what I wanted, a WFC style Prime universe bot to add to the fold.

I see alot of Prime fans are super tilted about the style. I am sipping up all of your anger and enjoying it so much. Tasty.

 

I'm, unfortunately, very "keep all parts" OCD about my figures...   And I could very easily be one of those people buying other energon parts from people, lol. But I spent too much already on the Kingdom card collection to get into energon parts.

His Prime design conveyed his .. bulkiness .. without making it a straight up "his entire torso is an entire truck cab" ..

I'm not sure I get how "Legacy" is faithful to Skids' classic design but completely throws out Bulkhead's. They gave him a 'real world' vehicle look but didn't go the humvee route. Why.

It is rumored to be retooled into another Optimus, but not that one. That's just Siege GUOP with a new back end.

Off topic, but who's the bike on the left? I like that design. I wonder if Legacy Arcee could be retooled into that character...

It'd be neat if it makes the back end look more like the Oshkosh truck too, I'm not a huge fan of plastic molded to look like fabric.

Yeah, I'm glad they at least put a little bit of Animated in him with the truck mode.

 

I don't like being all 'tut-tut'-y with people but this really is the logical end-point of cultivating a climate of tribal conflict in the fandom over the years, so you can mostly thank anyone who's unironically used terms like 'geewunner' in the past for this level of engagement.

Hmm..besides Prime, I wonder if they will retool Bulkhead into Scoop.

 

Only thing i would change on Bulk is the chest, maybe if the windows came out on a hinge and angled down? maybe if some pannels just came around and just made the chest, less...square, it would look better, otherwise, as a Prime fan, im happy. Heck this is basically G1ifying him, like Lugnut in reveal the shield or Hot shot in Universe.

Skids is great, Bit hollow in the legs but that\'s standard.

 

Holy crap, do these look bad.   interest in Legacy drops to zero...
