Kickback alone wasn't enough to make me want to replace my previous Legends Insecticons, but seeing Shrapnel here was enough to do it, thankfully I had a friend whose nearby stores weren't sold out of Kickbacks unlike mine.
I hope the gap fillers market has some more elegant solutions for the forearms and back of thighs, otherwise this thing looks pretty good. Nothing mind-blowing, but decent.
As much as I like the Insecticons, I can never get excited for their toys. He looks good though; bring in Chop Shop!

Yeah, you do. I tried for just a $49 2-pack and it wouldn't validate the discount code on it until I added enough to push the original price total over $75.
It sort of bothers me too, but not too bad ... I bet it is due to the eventual retool into Chop Shop with the orange fists.
I am very much digging this. Really hoping he feels as chunky/solid as Kickback does in hand. The purple guns are his legs. Just not the front legs; they’re the back legs so pretty sure they have to be there in alt mode.
Yeah, you're probably right, but it looks like there are bits on the bottom of his bug mode to keep him propped if you just want to use those front legs. I'll hafta see once I get him in hand which way I prefer.
I made a slight edit to his headsculpt because I thought it looked off. Made it slightly bigger, widened the crest, made the unibrow thicker.
