Apologies on the wait, but I had to wait to get the proper black colored final product to show off. The promotional images had shown slightly brown colored molds and I wanted to make sure everyone knows the final product has the black c pantone color. As I mentioned in the stream, the fur color for this guy ended up a bit darker then I originally intended, but, as you can see in these images, the subtle changes in tones creates a very sophisticated pallete. . Another tidbit I want everyone to know that this character comes with an all new weapon that actually is a two-peice gun. Once you floss ol Lio Prime with the new weapon, it actually makes for a very cool look. The weapon load out with the new guns really makes the firepower on this guy fierce! . Speaking of fierce, the stare down this clone gives in lion mode will make you run and hide. . I really enjoyed working on this character with Shu san at Takara Tomy. I wanted to dig up the Nemesis Primal but for some odd reason I couldn’t find it. Hopefully I’ll be able to match up the pair soon and show em off. . Have a Happy Mothers day!"

Yeah I like this one a lot more very nice. All the colors blend well together so the kibble in robot mode doesn't stick out as much
This makes u "run & hide"??? It couldn't try to make a more adorable face with those eyes. If cartoony, anthropomorphic lion face was your goal? NAILED IT.
Wish they dialed back the brightness of the turquoise paint. All my subconcious can see is dead leo prime with the prettiest of painted toenails.
Even though he existed for all of 10+ minutes, I really liked Copy Convoy as a character. I even felt a little sad when he blinked into nothingness. Lio convoy is stoic, so the emotional unstable black, white and teal photocopy who knew exactly how to Manipulate himself to get his desired outcome was a fun idea. I like that he was undone because Lio gives his team mates alot of freedom as to how they can execute his orders, so he had litterally had no idea what type of defenses Diver had installed on the Niagara base. It\'s cool he finally has a anime accurate toy after being colored the inverse of his actual color scheme for no reason in his lucky draw and masterpiece figures. I can see why they made Black Convoy in car robots. its a worthy origin for all these nemesis prime redecos. The best part of the character is that as soon as Copy Convoy is born, just has this 1 million yard stare on his face and one of the most ominous stiner plays that I've ever heard plays.
Colours look great. This is a definite purchase; held off on Leo Prime because I was waiting for this version. Just needs a 3rd party to make him an alternate snarling lion head, haha. Hasbro's lion still just looks cute instead of fierce.
Definitely still a good repaint. But for some reason, it hits different than the masterpiece to me. EDIT: I think it's because the Masterpiece has more grays contrasting a black. whereas this is all gray
