I just wish him and Pointblank were just a bit better. IMO, would have gladly ditched the Targetmasters to give the main figures just that extra bit of TLC

 

Honestly, knowing you can flip the nosecone up makes me want this 100% more. Sure it has some major flaws, but I love me a good jet boi.

 

I think these two are fine, and I’m cool with the way Peacemaker is (although I do have Japanese Top Spin with that Peacemaker, I admit).

I always thought those Siege Battlemasters had weird proportions and were strangely bulky.
It’s just too bad we didn’t get a wide release of these little darlings that came with the Japanese line of TR guys.


They’re practically perfection as far as Targetmasters go, if you ask me.

All right, so 'the Blue Turd' is at the least optional if not the result of a mis-transformation.

 

I know this has probably already been asked, but what do we think the "secret ability" is? Potential aerial-bot retool?

 

Running theory is Darkwing or Wingsweeper possibilities from what I've seen, though me being me, I do hope for Dogfight just, inexplicably showing up from this mold

 

I have absolutely no interest in this figure. Personally I think this should've been a voyager class figure. Hopefully a retool/remold will look good one day.

 

This is what I want Hasbro to do with Astrotrain. Just add articulation to the original mold please!

 

I suppose it's due to how simple the transformation is, but this guy really puts Pointblank to shame.

I think this is serviceable, I wish they tried to conceal the robot bits, by dropping the nose a bit but, it looks fine. B I'll be excited if they release Dogfight from this mold..... EXCITED!

 

The feet actually tidy up better, it's just like that to insert the Target Masters.

 

Almost, but he's really getting an advantage from not having a cluttered bot mode.

 

The only thing I don’t like is the horizontal elevator needlessly added to his tail fin. Without that, he’d be perfect.

 

As an intense fan of 1988 designs I hate their new Skullgrin and I dont like the sound of Bludgeon being a Tarn redeco either - However, this Needlenose came out really nice.
Small nitpick is that weird tailfin....

Ps. Takara, if you can do this Needlenose right, surely you can finally give us a proper Buster & Hydra, no?

 

The tailfin and possibly a retooled nose and head are what will differentiate Needlenose from a potential Windsweeper release.

To those that  don\'t know they  have to modify  it  a  bit  about the   tail  fin on the Jet  now  these days. Copyright  claims. Look At  combiner  wars  silverbolt. Almost a  perfect concord. But  Modified at the  tail  fin  section. Even On studio  Series  Jazz They got it  close to a  porsche it can look. avoiding licensing issues. Goes for even jets  now these days.
