Are you joking or serious? Sarcasm is hard without blue text.

Kingdom came out last year. There’s issues with the costs of plastic and shipping that are driving up Hasbro’s costs that they are passing on to us in this year’s Legacy line. Blaster costs more to make now than when he was originally produced and shipped for Kingdom.

As the world goes on, things get more expensive to design and make and ship and etc. This also applies to Transformers. In the case of Blaster, because the whole Legacy line has price increases, he is also affected despite the only difference being the packaging.

Why would they need to fix anything? I literally told you what the explanation is. Legacy Voyagers got a price increase, Kingdom figures didn't.

Fare enough, I didn't think you were serious. I figured they wouldn't want the same figure with 2 different prices on the same website

Ones old stock that is out of production, the other is new stock in a new line. They won't up the price on Kingdom Blaster unless they up the price on all of the Kingdom Voyagers they have left at this point.

Maybe Bruticus and Defensor could have been better articulated, especially for the hip section, but yes, Menasor was the only one that really needed a new version.
For superion, he only misses better articulated hands and feet, but for the rest it holds still fine. Waist rotation joint is something I can live without, in the economy of a combiner.

I'm sure you'll have no issue finding an abundance of "prime universe" Bulkhead and Arcee figures

Based on this review (and similar comments from others), the perfect upgrade kit for MM/Menasor would IMHO be as follows:
    - MM could use a trailer extension (it could be attached to the front to cover combiner kibble, then fold flat to become an extra ‘ramp’ for the battle station).
    - Articulated replacement hands for MM & Menasor would be great!
    - Maybe some purple stickers to complete the stripes down the sides of the trailer?
    - A replacement sword (chromed?!?) that telescopes so that it’s proportional for MM & Menasor is a must.
    - A SINGLE-barrelled Cyclone Gun is essential.
    - Have the sword and gun be able to fold up to store in the trailer/trailer add-on.

    That’s ALL I ask, upgrade kit-makers!

I do have to say, for some articulated replacement hands, Menasor's are actually pinned in with a ratcheting disk according to the review thread. So a more effective replacement may be the entire combiner forearm, unless whatever enterprising company that makes these upgrades wants you to do a fairly significant disassembly.

Was wondering how they are attached (I don’t own him myself yet, but am very keen on getting him!)

Late but it didn't get said so here I go.

It's because despite Blaster bring the same figure, Kingdom Blaster and Legacy Blaster have different stock numbers. They're two wholly different lines so your SKUs are different. That's why you have one Blaster at one price and the other at a different price. Legacy is where another price bump was enacted so that's why the price discrepancy is there.

I'm getting impatient waiting for motormaster. I don't think he needs anything personally.
