Has anyone compared the head design with the titan at the end of the last Shattered Glass comic? Curious if the comic set things up as this Metroplex being recolored into SG Metroplex

Yeah. This user is saying that in order to have the kind of sheer plastic size and bulk that this release brings to the table, this is the kind of price point that we should expect.

He’s not full of visible holes and gaps like much of Prime triology and some of WFC has been guilty of, so it costs more.

As for Metroplex, the design was weird to me back then, and it's still weird to me now. But it looks like a solid update.

 

How much do we actually know about SG Metroplex? And wouldn't he be Metrotitan colors?

 

He is colored like Metrotitan.

 

Legacy out here with the past line integration again, First Motormaster and CW, now Metroplex being in scale with the old Cybertron toys.

 

I still need T30 Metroplex and I still haven’t watched Cybertron. That being said, I’m in. He looks better than I thought he would and all around looks fun. Preordered at Target.

 

Definitely in scale, but can’t use the main plot device of the show.

Yeah he's alright I guess. Don't need him, didn't grow up with Cybertron, not wowed enough to justify spending the $200-300 it'd cost in Australia-land.

Extremely happy they're finally doing non-G1, though. It's about time the younger fans (i.e. 30-year-old fans, lol) got some attention instead of lavishing it all on the Geewunners. I was a Beast Wars kid and last year I got my turn in the spotlight, I'm so, so glad they're giving everyone else a chance now.
(And yay, Inferno on the box!)

I mean the whole gimmick of this line is clear plastic accessories, they couldn't put in a Cyber Planet Key that functions as an Energon Weapon?
