So Twincast showed up on my POL and I was wondering, wasn't Metalhawk also supposed to be shipping out to people who preordered him BBTS?
Play pattern suggestion for modern pretenders. A nontransformable humanoid figure along the lines and scale of Lg Tms. Same deco as the OG Pretenders. Go for the way Mf portrayed them, mass shifted in disguise articulated while the transforming bot is an update like Mh. All in one package of course. The international release play pattern of the OG pretenders shells as Giants that operate at the same time as core was a bit confusing.
More than breakage was just looseness issues. But after Victory Saber's release (where quite frankly for all the Legitimate QC issues there were plenty of times and situations I fully believe someone broke their toy THEMSELVES by treating it like it was danged Rescue Bot-level sturdy) and then the pencil-tapping debacle in relatively short order, at this point I'm wondering if there's a new disease that turns Transformers' fans hands into fists of ham.
TLDR some YouTube reviewer (believe it was chefatron) tried to show a claim of ROTB Battletrap having poor plastic by inexplicably beating the shit out of it with a pencil.
Yeah some the breaks ive seen look like they took a hammer to it. Someone in a group said they were putting a sticker on SS86 Jazz and the roof broke, they showed a pic and it looked like it was sledgehammered ffs
I’ve been wanting a proper Metalhawk for a while. As much as I liked the reveal of this figure and the news that it’s a Cyclonus retool, I was a bit turned off by the very yellow looking chest and head in the promotional images. I had been hoping for a more golden plastic to better represent his original toy’s diecast parts. Emgo’s review however gave me a better look at that plastic and it definitely looks a lot more metallic than I initially thought. Also, I’m really shocked at just how much shorter he is next to Cyclonus.
His knee joints are not as tight, so more difficult to get the extra thigh extension. Also, the gray is very light and not in a good way. It does not resemble metal paint at all.
