I wouldn't pay full price for this. As a comic character, I don't see Jhiaxus as a hot seller and he'll likely be discounted fairly quickly.

 

Fantastic looking robot mode. It's slightly unfortunate there's not somewhere better for the arms to go in jet mode, but it looks like they've done a good job of at least making them lock in securely.

 

G1 Skyquake looks like a tall boy to me. Like, Jetfire-sized.

 

Space jet mode kinda looks like a penis

 

To be fair, that’s true of almost everything in the military.

 

Am I the only one who suspects an remolded homage to Armada thrust from this mold down the line?

 

I almost never see Transformers toys discounted anywhere in my area. Walmart and Target are the primary places the toys land, usually months after other parts of the country, if at all. There's a comic store that picks up some of them and carries them, too, but they almost never discount anything, let alone Transformers Toys (they usually charge higher than MSRP, actually). I envy those of us in the community where there's actually decent availability and even occasional mark-downs.

 

Looks like a Titanmaster can hang below the hollow cockpit while you woooosssshhhh around. LOL. Trash!

Based on the TF game that was in development recently but we've had no news of.

 

idk what the general opinion on his orange color scheme is but i always thought it was neat (and honestly better than the g2 colors)
so for anyone else who liked it heres a digi of this one in orange

 

They could use this as his official G1 look. A repaint of this will happen at some point since the deco already was based on the Jetstorm repaint.

The creamy white isn't as bad as Apeface but it still urks me. If I pick him up he is getting a new coat of white or light gray ASAP. Otherwise, more G2 please! Would love some sort of take on Liege Maximo.

 

I'm probably not an average buyer, but this is honestly the first retail Hasbro transformer I've planned on buying since the jeep Bumblebee came out. The Masterpiece molds scratch my itch for the big players, so I really enjoy when they give esoteric characters really well-done molds with transformations that don't take twenty minutes to do.

I love molds like this that pop up every couple years where the figure just oozes this "passion project that has no business being this good" vibe, and I think in the long run it'll be one of the popular ones among the fandom that nobody expected much out of (ones like ROTF Mindwipe, HFTD Terradive, Generations Drift, RID Vehicon, Thrilling 30 Springer, Offroad Bumblebee, and Titans Return Triggerhappy spring to mind). This guy will definitely be joining my desk toy rotation soon, at least.

 

I have absolutely no connection to this character but I am really looking forward to this figure. I really dig the design, very unique.

 

I ordered four LOL been waiting this guy since g2. Sadly its too late for me so buying them for the kids. I also just bought almost all of the Studio series Bayformers Decepticons as I am repurposing them to be his troops

kinda wish they would have done a proper g2 megatron now, the last one was so close, just the chest was off sadly . So I skipped it

loved the g2 coming back in the day ( hate much the art though ).
