This is my review for the upcoming Transformers Leader Class Evolution Leader Class Skyquake.

To start off, the Jet mode. Pretty Good Jet mode, looks menacing than a normal Jet.



For accessories, he comes with his machine gun. The gun also stores a second weapon, a Sword. The sword is snug in the gun, but can be removed easily by holding onto the tip and pulling it out.


Also to note, the blade is hard to get out. There is a little groove at the end where you need your nails to push the blade out.


To do some size comparisons in Jet mode. Here we have 2 other Jets, Legacy Evolution Needlenose and Earthrise Starscream. Little disturbing that Starscream is much longer.


For a car comparison, here is Earthrise Wheeljack.


Now Robot mode. Pretty awesome Robot mode. Really close to the Prime design trying hard to make the line more G1 accurate. I think the only thing I don't like about Skyquake's robot mode is the chest. Honestly, expected it to have mode like a Seeker chest, with cockpit in the center. Another thing to note is that the backpack does make him a little hard to stand up. I even get frustrated when I move my hand and one tiny nic and Skyquake falls over. Also, may need to be careful when transforming the wings on Skyquake. I feel the panels are a little flimsy.

Now, I'm not sure if it's meant to have weapon storage in robot mode. I don't know if I'm suppose to do this, but I was able to peg the gun on his back. Was about to put the peg inside one if his square holes.


For size comparison in robot mode. We have the previous figures. Earthrise Wheeljack, Earthrise Starscream and Legacy Evolution Needlenose.


For some more comparisons, here we have Earthrise Optimus Prime and Kingdom Galvatron.


So I highly recommend this figure. As I mentioned, not a fan of the chest and keeping him balanced may be tricky. I give this figure a 9 out of 10. Any questions or requests, feel free to ask (But that's only if I have the time and figures.)

Really like it. I do miss the Seeker chest he had in the show but these pics are convincing enough for me. Maybe a brighter green but otherwise this is great. I hope Dreadwing gets a nice vibrant bright/dark blue and yellow.

Neat! Think he is a worthy leader class in terms of mass and size?

 

Dang this is really nice. The only problems that I have of it is that I feel it needs bigger weapons like a bigger mini gun. I'm sure we'll get upgrade kits for that though. Bring on Dreadwing!

 

Maybe not Jet mode, but Robot mode, I believe so.

 

Looks like a really solid toy, but out of the potential versions of this mold (G1 Skyquake, MW Starscream, King Atlas), this one is probably the most visually uninteresting. He lacks the personality of Prime Skyquake's toy, and this particular shade of green does not do well in a big solid mass broken up only by greys, which really obscures a lot of the molded detail on the figure. He just looks like a G1 Skyquake toy (somewhat poorly) recolored as Prime Skyquake, and I'm not sure it works super well. I'll probably wait and see what else we get from the mold.

 

Same here. Waiting on MW Starscream or G1/G2 Skyquake.

 

Can you put him next to SS 07 and ROTF Megatron? Also how do they compare next to him in-terms of weight?
