Ok so junkion ll has a name and it isn't a bad one. Crashbar shares the facial hair of Mark that's pretty rad. Being the second of the junkions he shares the same weapon/fossil addition possibilities. Robot mode head is on a ball joint that can come off. His bike wheel turns into a spinning ninja star that's very cool . He is smaller than scrapbook in bot mode. Bike mode is nice but a bit more fiddly transformation then scraphook .Bike can stand on it own with a positioning on the wheels.and yes you can add parts of scraphook to it and vise versa. I loved the gimmick they continued with these Junkions and look forward to the next one and repaints. Note unlike Scraphook (leg) don't see an obvious combiner part. But make NO mistake when all is said and done they will be a combiner. Isn't @computron179 in Asia? I thought they just had earlier access because of location, but could be wrong.

How are other toys at riding his bike mode? Looks to be relatively speaking a pretty small bike.

This is hard to judge some deluxe to big or core to small. Megatron rides it's nicely IMG_20230203_174911458.jpg IMG_20230203_174911458~2.jpg IMG_20230203_180245656.jpg IMG_20230203_175640793.jpg IMG_20230203_175854452.jpg IMG_20230203_175930650.jpg

Like I've said before, I think this is a semi-pareidolia kinda thing where, while it might LOOK like they can form limbs, I'm still doubtful that it's intentional on Hasbro's part. Similar to how they came out at the end of Kingdom and said, "oh yeah, we TOTALLY meant for the Fossilizers to be a combiner, planned it that way since the beginning... Do you think they bought it?" when if that was true, why weren't they advertising that as a feature (just like with these Junkions)?
It's not like Hasbro or Takara to NOT give more reasons to entice people into buying more product. It may wind up being possible to build a large robot out of the various pieces and parts of the Junkions, but I seriously don't think they planned it from the beginning. If they had, they'd be super full of themselves about it and broadcasting it loudly and widely.

Fully willing to accept I'm wrong, but I'll be shocked if an actual, fully-realized combiner (and not just some fan builds) come out of these figures.

The fan builds were always way better than the supposed official fossil combiner. I felt they just threw that out there after seeing the fan builds. This time I believe there is a more thought out idea intended not just a half assed reaction. Who knows really. I can make Crashbar an arm or leg already lol .

:thumb  We'll all just have to wait and see. But I totally agree with you that the fan builds always put the "official" ones to shame.

I really like Crashbar. He feels much more solid as a toy than Scraphook. I’m a little confused/disappointed that the instructions didn’t provide a default weaponizer build like they did in Scraphook’s instructions. Technically you don’t need two Crashbar, but you’ll want two. IMO.

Fun little figure. IMO not as successful as Scraphook in regards to the pull-apart/weaponizer gimmick, but I'll still be able to make some cool mix-and-match figures. Especially once the muscle car/Axelgrease mold gets released. :thumb

And some simple limb swaps gives some nice variation in character heights. I'm loving the brutal dwarf on the left :lol

How does he look riding Wreck-Gar/Junk Heap? Does he seem like a more in-scale fit than they do riding each other (heh)?

Yeah, the new Junkions have always worked better to have a Deluxe rider on a Voyager bike. The RTS mold looks pretty great riding another RTS mold Junkion, however.
