My only critique on the new junkions is that the torso is difficult to use as weaponizer parts. However, it's very easy to add extra arms to other characters ;p

I'll hear no slander against SS86 Trash Man.

This Junkion looks really cool aight. He has a nice headsculpt and cool bike altmode. Still think Scraphook looks better but I'll definitely get him too.

Hot take: Junkions as bikes are kind of overrated honestly (it's fine for Wreck Gar, he can remain a bike). There's apparently a 60s Camaro Junkion coming soon, but man I wish the second Junkion turned into something like a modded 1940s coupe car. But yeah not gonna complain, Junkion 2 looks great and I can't wait to see more.

Well fortunately I actually like the bots on their own to.

I’m actually most eager to see some combined vehicle modes, like in the promo art. I want multiples of this guy so we can get those crazy double-bike-fronted mad max trucks

The Junkions having a torso with parts attaching to it reminds me of Tenkai Knights (a quite old anime series, few years back it was very popular). Basically there was a core brick torso where the robot parts would fit onto the body.

I wonder if there's a way to stick the wheels onto those big exhaust pipes, make some kind of improvised staff/polearm like the Poster has him holding.

How many buildable Junkions are there again?
I counted three on the poster; Scraphook, this motorcycle guy and a 60s Camaro Junkion.

I assume there'll be like four buildable Junkions with likely one or two ending up as exclusives; maybe the 60s Camaro dude is getting repainted into Lockdown and this motorcycle dude is getting repainted into Cy-Kill.

Ah yes, the one with transforming Lego bricks. I definitely see what you're getting at.

Ditto, but I'd prefer multiple versions of the molds rather than buying the same toy multiple times. New heads would be a bonus, but I'm good with just new paintjobs / names

I’m a bit disappointed the video didn’t show some combos between the two Junkions. Like setting up that “chariot” mode or using half the trucks front to make a sidecar like in that poster. Hanging the bike chunks off of optimus allows for some contrast but let’s face it, these will look WAY better weaponizing each other than non junkions.

Also, I think the pipes are mounted incorrectly in bike mode. They would look better slinging along the undercarriage than up high alongside the seat which looks doofy.

The Weaponizer functions on this and Scraphook seem really bad. Looks more like adding extra limbs or kibble than adding any shields or weaponry. Seems better for getting dismembered by Decepticons than accessorising the other bots which, (in)luckily for this guy, I'm pretty into. Hopefully they reuse this engineering style for generics. I'll take a Junkion-style partsforming generic Autobot, Decepticon, Maximal and Predacon, thank you. Actually I'd take two of each, all in Deluxe-Voyager.

I’m hoping that muscle car is modeled closer to a Charger or a Duster, personally. And a ‘40’s coupe would be cool but those tend to be more full-bodied. I think a rat rod style ‘20’s/‘30’s era coupe (‘33 Plymouth for reference) with the fenders/hood/running boards stripped off and a huge exposed big block V-8 with blower and side pipes would really fit the Junkion aesthetic. Id like to see more muscle cars and hot rods in TF’s as a whole, especially when you have a character named “Hot Rod” whose overpriced supercar variants are nothing of the sort, but that’s another topic…

The Voyager Junkions roll perfectly well on carpet. Those studded tires don't work on smooth surfaces at all.

Right, just slavishly accurate Beast Wars figures :D

So? He doesn't have a functional motor either, you going to hold that against the figure too?

Ugh, I will only buy Wreck-Gar if he has audio clips that takes two-thirds of his budget.

(Can you see that I don't like lights and sounds gimmicks, at all?)
