Do you know whether Matrix Workshop kits are molded or 3D printed?

 

Looks to be 3D printed, most likely SLS, a la Shapeways. I've got no experience with Matrix Workshop, but I have too much printing experience for someone my age.

I wonder if Matrix Workshop just copies MMC's Sniper rifle or they makes it themselves, I have to check it after I find my MMC rifle in my shelves.

If he feels a little flat, the jet pack accessory intended for Sideswipe from the Centurion Drone pack fits/molded perfectly on Tarn just like it does on ER Optimus.  

 

Just picked up my Amazon order on the way to the movies. Got him out and his weapons on but obviously didn't have time to really mess with him but I can already tell he's gonna be special. He feels good in hand and his profile is just perfect, no kibble or backpack to speak of, it just makes him look and feel scrumptious. Still in awe this figure actually happened and can't wait to really get into it.

 

My Amazon preorder was delayed until 3/26. Darn it.

 

The idw run has given us some memorable characters indeed, when i think about it, not a lot of TF medias after BW can say the same, if you dont count the og characters redux for each era

 

I think Animated may be just about it with characters like Lockdown and a Sentinel Prime that's basically a new character.

 

Hopefully Earth spark has some Kool new ones

 

And don't forget about Lugnut! However, I'm really partial to the James Roberts' IDW run and I'd really like to see more figures being made in the next iterations of Legacy: Nautica, Riptide, Velocity. And above all an in-scale version of Rung

You don't like Thunderhowl and Wild Wheel from Cyberverse?

 

Quite simply one of the best figures in the current legacy wave. His transformation is a bit finicky in some places and I worry about the clear back tabs, but otherwise a solid 9/10 figure.

 

I'm gonna have some fun taking pics of this one.
