8/10, great articulation (double knees, over 90 elbows, waist, hands), transformation is nice and smooth

Scale wise I’ve been told he’s correct (few mm shorter than ER Optimus) but IMO he’s a bit weedy in the shoulders/ legs

lots of clear plastic, chest and back are clear and so are the cannons

mine came without his left shoulder cannon antenna because QC.

 

Nice review, if a little short. But I will definitely pick this figure up.

 

Does the mask come off to reveal a Glitch face underneath?

 

Nope, its glued shut.

No offense, but I just don't really think I can honestly add anything new that's been discussed before in the reveals. I guess the exposed fists are a minor issue in the tank mode?

I really don't get them using clear plastic and paint it over like that... very disappointed about that, and now I see the gaps in the barrels... oy, such a great looking figure and that just adds that "standard now" freaking cheapness from Hasbro to it.

I still am looking forward to having it in hand, but a little less thanks for this as at least I'm "mentally" prepared for these annoyances. Have to admit that for a moment I contemplate cancelling and going to hunt down the Mastermind Creations version but it's just too big (and a big pricey) for what I want from this character.

Oh well, it's pretty much the only figure that I'm getting for the next 6 months from Hasbro (and probably the Airazor that's the remold of the KD one), it was one that I was really looking forward to, and that bit of cheapness managed to spoil that to an extent.

Honestly same. Plus I kinda want to add legitimacy to his character, make it a regular in the franchise now.

 

Second copy, here’s the side/ back/ bottom view. Yes, he’s got the same exposed fist syndrome like Spinister, but it’s not distracting at all and you can rotate his hands to an angle that you like

 

He looks really good! First Legacy figure that I've really looked forward to since Bulkhead came out earlier this year. Kinda wish he was a little taller, just a smidge, but I'll get over it

The hands out the back looks totally fine to me too to be honest. Can they be rotated so that the back of the hands face up in tank mode or do they need to be in that specific orientation?

 

He said the hands could be rotated to any angle you like, so I think you should be able to do that.

Personally I didn't even realize the hands were visible from tank mode until his second photo set.

WOW. Not bad at all. I thought he'd be bulkier for some reason. Looks like he'll be a lot of fun. Does the clear plastic light up pretty well?

Great to hear about the clear plastic, gives it a more premium feel. I don't know what I would do with this guy but oh my does he look fantastic! May very well cave in and get him once he shows up.

 

I still can't believe we got an official Tarn. Really looking forward to this guy.
