It would bother me, but with the coloration it actually kinda reminds me johdpur-style riding pants (which were often worn by motorcycle riders back in the early days) tucked into tall boots, which makes me love it:

Prowl is designed to look like a motorcycle cop with flared pants. If he doesn't have thick thighs, he's wrong.

 

Well, Jazz is as Animated as the Prime Legacy releases were Prime, which means that he looks like G1/IDW-ified version of that character. I do really like the figure for what it is, but it is kinda sad that we’ll never see something as accurate to the more stylized shows in the current Generations line like what we get for G1 or Beast Wars or even Armada.

I wonder if the (possible) Junkion combiner is going to be a more traditional combiner or something more like the fossilizers. can't wait to see!

If we get animated Marauder Megatron, Blackout, Ultra Magnus and Blurr in this style then I can die a happy man.

 

My only quibble is Siege Chromia is not good as a figure, so I disagree and believe she needs a new figure. Probably not the TFAU Prowl mold, and probably not prioritized before other fembot figures, but I think she definitely needs a spot in the queue.

 

I'd really like a new version of the IDW design remolded from Legacy Arcee (with all the same amount of remolding to give her new wheels and the enclosed cockpit), but only if she'd get the Takara Legends colors (which are unfortunately not the IDW colors, so I doubt she would).

 

I mean, Legacy Arcee has pretty unremarkable thighs that are merely cylindrical. They'd make terrible flared pants for Prowl.

 

Honestly the Elita team need their robot modes redesigned so as to accommodate their original alt modes.
Except of course Greenlight and Lancer.
They didn't appear in alt mode so they're clean slates in that regard.

Do I remember hearing a rumor about RiD'15 Strongarm getting a Legacy figure or am I making that up/just recalling someone's speculation?
