I want a better animated bumblebee. I think he is the only figure I hated from that line. A new ratchet would be cool too.

Wow with Prowl looking so barely G1ified and near accurate to animated but less exaggerated proportions and G1ified head makes me wish the Prime stuff was closer to toon accurate too. Oh well APC is offering a great TF Prime collection and this Prowl is so bought.

Hope they do new animated BB and Ratchet as they were the weak links originally.

Based on what I know at least, Red>orange>yellow>Navy colored ones are mainline by the wave, where Red = wave 1 and so on
Lime green signifies Velocitron, white is pulse exclusive (and Minerva), mint represents WFC SS (assumed high moon studios game figures), and violet/pink represents rise of the beasts SS

    Junkion, yes. Prowl, no.

Just not my cup of tea. He's okay, better than I expected, but not my cup of tea. I hope you guys enjoy, though!

I bet they could squeeze an Animated Ratchet by recurjiggering the Hoist mold, pretty easily. :D

And I could stand a slightly remolded Earthrise Cliffjumper retool as animated BB.

    This Prowl is stellar, though!
    Can’t wait to see Optimus!
Or who else they’ll come out with!
If they do enough of them, how about giving us that Titan Class Animated Omega, Hasbro????

That Junkion looks awesome, but it doesn\'t appear that it doesn\'t come apart like Scraphook does?

He does if the big mural they did is correct, you can switch Scraphook's legs out for two of his left and make a crazy bike chariot.

Can't put my finger on exactly what it is but on first look at that Prowl, ugh no. Might be one of those things I need to see in person (or at least more pics) to adjust the opinion

Prowl looks like an early concept for his TFA incarnation. It is still very in-line with TFA figures rather than CHUG.

I really hope the "Junkion 2" mold (along with the other modular Junkions) gets a 2nd use. I'm not into troop building the same characters (Sweeps, Sharkticons, and Allicons aside) but I'll buy every recolor / new head version of these Junkions!

I can't wait for Bludgeon. For some reason I just have to have him throw down with this Prowl on a shelf. Would love a Yoketron too.

You are making shit up. I never said it was perfect. I just like it better than the new version.

He does. Look at his left thigh.
You can see it's not pegged in all the way.

The point of this is to have non-G1 characters to supplement your G1 collection, which requires translating them into G1's art style. Story-wise, these characters are visiting the G1 universe through portals.

From a behind the scenes POV, G1-izing these characters allows them to be retooled as G1 through Cybertron characters, which makes them an easier sale from a budgeting POV.

I look forward to displaying the main 5 Autobots (I'll use Legacy Bulkhead, who looks more Animated than Prime) with my G1 figures.

I have a hunch a G1-ized Animated Ratchet might be a partial with Machine Wars Hoist and Hubcap as well as RiD2000 Towline and Robotmasters Wrecker Hook.

interesting robot mode on Prowl...I figured the vehicle modes might not look so different but the robot modes defintely lack that exaggerated aesthetic from the Animated line...

I'm getting some major Autobot Spike vibes from the Junkon...

Considering the evolution gimmick i wouldn't be shocked if an official one is gonna be included with a later release.

Throwback to when we first got the junkion listings and people thought they were code for the new combiner even though that’d make no sense why they’d use “junkion” an already established group as a codename for an unrelated combiner…

    Good times

Weird is failing to get that Transformers fans like cool robots and it is cool to see characters rendered in different art styles. There is room in this world for both G1fied/updated designs and for screen-accurate designs, in the same way we've had both slavishly cartoon accurate G1 Optimus Primes but also had various Generations Optimus Primes who are brand new designs.

I would still be interested in a TFA Starscream that looked more like his show design than the old Voyager, but that doesn't stop me from wanting to see "G1-fied TFA Starscream" too. One could replace the old figure in my TFA collection, while the other could stand within my existing Generations collection. It's all about having fun.
