Man whatever you're huffing is some strong stuff. I'd ask for some, but I'd rather not cook my brains with the delusion that a 15-year-old-toy is absolutely perfect and can't be improved on in any way, shape, or form.

 

I've already said this, but this Prowl is such a banger. It's really hard to resist replacing my Earthrise figure with this one.

First Skyquake and now Prowl. They've really started to nail the expanded universe Legacy figures. I'm still not a fan of the Prime Universe characters we got this year, but it seems Hasbro have really hit their stride with these upcoming releases.
To me, Prowl (and Skyquake for that matter) doesn't feel too "G1," and I think he's all the better for it. It's sort of this in-between aesthetic. More of an "evolved G1," almost what I'd expect from earlier Classics/Universe era. At least, that's the impression I get. I really hope that continues.

Because hot damn, the figures I'd buy. Animated has so much potential if Prowl is anything to go off of. Leader Lugnut, Leader Megatron, Voyager Blitzwing. Maybe even the Constructicons? Magnus, Sentinel, Shockwave... The list goes on.
Really looking forward to seeing how Animated Prime turns out.

 

That first deco would work well to make Prowl into the Turbo Cycle for G1 Prowl to ride. Then we need a lion and an owl and a race car to join them.

 

I'm looking forward to how this new Junkion breaks down as a weaponizer. That leg with the front wheel looks ready to be a giant saw.

 

I've gotten around to wishing they'd do a whole CHUG subline of new characters. The Fossilizers and these Junkions are both wonderful and it'd be great to see the designers actually get to use their creativity for more than just repeats. They clearly had a lot of fun with Paleotrex, Scraphook and Junkion 2. Want to see way more of what they can do.

 

Best way to do Armada Sideways so that he keeps all 3 heads IMO is to have him be a PulseCon exclusive.

Aaaah, Hasbro, I didn't even want Animated Prowl, but he looks great and fits one of my shelves perfectly.

 

Sideways' rider is two heads combined into one robot, so that splits up the mass a bit. And their mass distribution is a bit different than the Titanmasters because their legs transform into big horns, instead of trying to tuck away inconspicuously.

 

I want a better animated bumblebee. I think he is the only figure I hated from that line. A new ratchet would be cool too.
