Loving this dude, they pretty much nailed it. His blue is pretty damn dark ,darker than B Soundwave’s.

    I LOVE this figure.

Only complaints (get ready; they're super nitpicky):

*the chest doesn't lock as securely as previous releases of this mold. Mold degradation? Unsure.

*Box makes for a much cheaper presentation. Think I'd prefer a Selects box at least. No window, and the "Buzzworthy" themed package looks terrible, but so do the rest released in this sublime.

That's it. Other than, I'm over the moon.

    Love it.

I'm not the biggest fan of the Earthrise Datsun mold, but I don't really care when the figure is this good. My copy is very tight. However, what really stands out in the shade of blue, I love it. So much so, I'd be curious to see what a Kingdom Galvatron mold would look like in it.

I have Siege Barricade and now this Silverstreak as my experience with the WFC Datsuns and I'm pretty happy with that combo. Silverstreak is unique and stands out in such a way that I don't feel immediately compelled to track down a Trio and I like it. The color scheme does this a ton of favors as its white and blue are just so crisp and deep. I think I might prefer the Siege Datsun to the ER one but that's not new to Silverstreak.

A kindred spirit! I agree on just about every point - no compulsion to complete a trio, the colors look great on its own, and especially on this mold versus other schemes. I also slightly prefer that Siege Datsun mold. It feels less fragile, and the feet are less hollow, and do a better job hiding what hollowness there is.The only problem is the skinny thighs, and I suppose YMMV on the scifi alt-mode.

I also concur with nearly every positive statement said of Legacy Target exclusive Buzzworthy Silverstreak already mentioned here, & will gladly reiterate those points & more.

Loving this gorgeous, sleek, dark blue car with air dam front bumper & excellent paint-to-plastic matching including blue roof & black wheel pegs. The translucent seam in back kind of looks like a black stripe.
    IMG_0797.JPG
Rolls great & has weapon storage that doesn't need to be removed for transformation.
    IMG_0798.JPG
I store the rifle under the car hood & robot head by placing it there before folding both shoulder fenders. It rattles around but it will never fall out. Also, unlike on ER Smokescreen, Silverstreak's arm blast effect peg keeps his head from being straight, whether the head is looking forward or backward, so I rotate the forearm to accomodate. Nothing is hindered.
    IMG_0799.JPG
Vehicle comparison with all my WFC Autobot cars so far, plus Kingdom Soundwave: Kingdom Red Alert, Studio Series '86 Jazz, Earthrise Optimus Prime, Smokescreen & Hoist, Selects Deep Cover, Tigertrack & Exhaust, & Siege Hound & Bluestreak.
    IMG_0804.JPG
Nice to have the quintessential Autobot car design in these colors, especially in dark blue.
    IMG_0805.JPG
And with all 3 of his weapons too. Joint & peg/hole tolerances are excellent. On my copy, one of the wings is loose, easily misaligning with the other, while the bicep swivels are tight, making disconnecting the shoulders a frequent occurance when trying to swivel them.
    IMG_0809.JPG
The door wings look great either splayed out or swept back. The torso stays in place decently enough even if both shoulders are unpegged, allowing extra upward shoulder movement.
    IMG_0810.JPG
With the shoulder shrug, wrist rotation, more than 90 degree movement in hips & knees, & ankle pivot in both directions, it's perhaps the most poseable of the WFC car bots.
    IMG_0815.JPG
Depending on the pose, he's just as stable without the heels flipped out.
    IMG_0842.JPG
    Veeeeeery flexible!
    IMG_0852.JPG
My Datsun car bots. The weird look and feel of the Siege Datsun mold takes getting used to, but it's still decent. However, the Earthrise version is an improvement in almost every way, for nearly every character. Other than the aformentioned bicep swivels, my Silverstreak & Smokescreen's tolerances are about the same. Both their unique headsculpts have the same amount of ball joint range too.
IMG_0821.JPG Silverstreak is one of those excellent redecos that gives it's mold a new identity that looks just as good as it's predesessor in different ways. Bright, flashy & varied is Smokescreen; dark, discreet & simple is Silverstreak. Smokey looks great with 'Streak's matching white guns.
    IMG_0823.JPG
All three guns pegged together also look great.
    IMG_0824.JPG
Robot mode comparison with Kingdom Red Alert & Soundwave, Earthrise Optimus Prime, Earthrise Hoist, & Siege Bluestreak.

Lastly, some pics of a nice morning drive in the sun.

    IMG_0834.JPG
Having greatly enjoyed Earthrise Smokescreen a bit more than my other Autobot cars, missed out on Amazon exclusive Prowl & Ironhide, already owning the Siege version of Bluestreak, & not caring for the deco differences on Amazon exclusive Barricade & Counterpunch, I bought Legacy Silverstreak on sight at Target. Just as worthy as Smokey is, a great redeco of a great mold.

Target has this guy on clearance for $12. I love the Datsun mold, and always liked the 'blue' Silverstreak, so it was a win-win for me today! 20220708_085754.jpg If they ever get around to making the OmniBots, he's going to hang with them in an alternate pocket reality.

Still a little annoyed that his right door wing sort of pops when you position it, and a little degradation is evident by the way his chest doesn't lock into his midsection. But man, I do love that color scheme! so worth the $11 and change I paid for him.

So I guess I must have push something the wrong way trying to get the legs tucked into car mode because the roof of the car mode just snapped cleaned off, so that’s unfortunate

Target had this listed at $11.49 on clearance, so I decided to pick up an extra. It rang up at about $6.89!
    Good times.

Got this guy at Target for $6.89 too. This is my first and probably last experience with the ER Datsun mold. Not because it’s bad, far from it. The previous versions are just impossible to get.

He is your standard Datsun figure. You played with one you kinda played with all. He is definitely the best looking CHUG version of this mold.

The Silverstreak deco is beautiful. Deep dark blue, dark silver, bright white and some yellow works so well. A great nod to the original Diaclone figure.

Some minor negatives. My figure’s left shoulder had some over molding. Had to to some sanding to have things fit better. Shoulder guns are a little wobbly.

It’s definitely worth a pick up especially if you can find it on clearance.

Bought on clearance and the hinge on the windshield disintegrated coming out of the box. Went right back to the store.

He’s a beaut, but painted clear plastic on the hinges is a bitch.

Same with my copy. The pin holding it was so tight, that the hinge broke the first time I transformed him. I got it for $6.89. I tried to get another one, but they were all gone at the two Targets near me. He can still transform fine, but there is a small crack visible from the outside right under the wiper. The QC over the last two years has been abysmal.

I paid full retail fearing he'd never be seen again since he's an exclusive. Seems like they over produced him. Anyway, thanks for the heads up. I haven't taken him out of the box yet. But I have bluestreak open and he doesn't have any QC issues.

Always wanted a blue Bluestreak. This have issues with the paint on the hood scraping like Barricade? Still trying to find a paint match for that one...

Mines perfect. Although I don't go around trying to scratch the hood intentionally.
