Maybe I tuned out of that thread too early, but I don't recall this much agitation over the fact that they cheaped out on Dead End's feet, and that is a far more egregious issue, both practically and aesthetically.

I didn’t have any Stunticons (and only a partial set of Combaticons, but different story). What I did have was an entire room plastered with Countach posters. This matters to me as well.
