Sorry, didn't know I needed an engineering degree to understand a basic concept. They literally just had to make the spoiler two pieces. Could leave it as a five millimeter port connection so it wouldn't even have to be permanently attached. This is not rocket science.

Okay this has been bothering me all day. Don't get me wrong, I'm still ticked at the loss of the Lamborghini alt but I think I can live with the figure. It's just a matter of thinking of it as a completely different alt. It is a close match to the
    De Tamaso Pantera.

Utter insanity. Stop being petulant. You can split a spoiler and pin it, they’ve done it in the same toy line as this one. Why would you ever get this aggressive about guarding a multinational corp? They aren’t your friend, your mom, or your grandpa.

The way some jump to defend Hasbro, and take comments clearly directed at Hasbro so personally, you'd almost think they are working for Hasbro. Plants trying to manipulate the community into actually believing that we are not getting completely shafted in the eleventh hour, when clearly without a doubt complete disregard as taken hold.

The funny part, as I’ve said, is that far fewer people would be this disappointed if we knew this from the beginning. I have not seen a reasonable excuse for why this was dropped so late into the release of Menasor. I get that we want to close our ears when someone alleges or implies underhanded tactics, but come on people. Conspiracy theory or not, what’s it look like?

It's all because Hasbro didn't have "The Budget" to let us know about this from the beginning.

    My thoughts:

Vechicle: It could have been reshelled to look like a Lamborghini Countach. The back is remolded to have a spoiler like the actual car. The front kinda resembles his g1 colors scheme. But remolding the entire car would have been nice. The front not being remolded to look like the car is just lazy.

Robot mode: Looks pretty good. I like that they have remolded the chest and the waist to make him look different from Wildrider.

People, don't lose sleep over this! Don't fight each othe over this! See it as half glass full over empty. Who knows, maybe Hb will do a "Blastoff"? Remember that? 3 incarnations for everybody's fave Decepticon shuttle.;)

Blastoff was a whole new mold because Takara went nuts for CW. This is more like Wildrider (From the same line) just being Dead End with a new head which, well, it was CW

I significantly doubt they're going to do a re-release of this with a single part remold. If they were going to, they would have done that to begin with

Blastoff the toy version wasn't immediately. It was some months passed after.

Also, again no need to lose sleep over a US$ 25.00 toy.

sorry dude its not that simple they probably had only 1 or 2 molds to redo wildrider into breakdown an evan has mentioned before everything comes down to tool and die cost. so if every new part was injection molded on one mold, they wouldn't have the space for it to be in 2 parts. and honest it helps with the factory not forgetting to pack 2 halve of the spoiler keeping cost down in labor and assembly.- im in product design i study this kinda shit

    Always relevant.

“How dare you attempt to criticize this figure without degrees in engineering, economics, and marketing!”

nah you just need to have an understanding of manufacturing and cost and how hasbro subs divides there budget. we got lucky with with cosmo and override both of those got made on freaking retooling budget. that's not a lot of tooling.

Probably just me but this Menasor actually suffers from the same issue for me that CW Menasor has which is he ends up being too wide. It's a bit odd but with the cars attached that sense of width is VERY visible and it stands out more because unlike CW Menasor his lower body isn't as wide to match. At this point I really do think I'm just gonna enjoy these guys more as individuals than as a combiner

I mean, some of these criticisms are a bit. Much. Folks throwing away an entire set because one alt mode isn't correct where we're in the line that regularly slaps various cars together, or does the exact same for planes. Or that line about the Lambo/Ferarri rivalry and how much of a traversty this was up thread

I'm just happy he turns into an accurate robot, because that's the mode he's going to be spending most of his time in
