To be fair (for some reason), Wind Sheer requires more plastic parts, as well as pins and extra paint. It's not entirely unreasonable.

That said, Wheeljack here is the fourteenth use of the Siege Sideswipe mold. That mold has surely paid for itself twice over by now. They could've taken the insignificant loss it would've been to include him, especially since they literally have the mold sitting right there and it didn't cost them anything to include him in an exclusive multipack that was priced cheaper than its components.

 

Instead of that shoulder weapon that this character never uses in any depictions of him, he should have his Mini-Con instead. If it had to cost more, he could been slotted into a Generations Selects slot. I don't care about this guy or Armada as a whole but the missing Mini-Cons is getting to a bad point. Especially since we know this specific tooling exists. I truly hope for all the Armada fans, that a pack or something is in the works to include them.

 

Plus the rest of the entire wave, from Core to Leader, are either re-issues, or simply new heads.

 

I cant wait to get him. I hope hasbro starts on Transtech soon.

 

and doesnt it just make your gears rust knowing that the only one that was a normal earthmode fuckass sideswipe was locked into a two pack with a bird no one wanted.

also yea im also on team 'pissed right off that the molding existed and they still didnt include his minicon'. so frustrating.

 

The fact that this doesn't come with the minicon is enough to make me not buy it despite how much I want it.

 

Holy crap I forgot about that lmao. Maybe they've got another Selects Autobot pack in the works with Sideswipe, Mirage, Prowl, and two other rares, but I'm not holding my breath. Not to mention with the new Devastation Sideswipe that just leaked, which is most likely ER Swipe with Cel Shading, that'd be #15.

I never thought I'd see the day that the most reused mold wasn't a Seeker.

 

Looking slick, super happy they kept with the japenese release/anime colors, a shame they couldn't have made this a two pack and included windsheer but hopefully we can get a minicon multipack of some sort later on

 

Looks decent but I'm so tired of this mold and its kin that I'll still pass.

Sorry can’t bring myself to pay it when you get SideSwipe the mini con but not the OG character.

 

Been waiting on this for a while, he looks great. Colors are fire. Still think it's kinda bullshit we aren't getting the Minicon with him.

 

Sure can't wait for the Minicon to be sold in some expensive online retail exclusive 4-Pack or whatever!

I imagine we will get a Minicon pack at some point just they won't be able to interact with everyone, like Armada Starscream for example.

I mean we will need to get a proper Powerlinx colors Jolt to go with Powerlinx Hotshot, and then they could include Windsheer.

 

Seriously? He doesn't come with Hawk?! Normally I wouldn't be at all surprised, but THEY ALREADY HAD A MOLD FOR IT.
Really curious why they decided not to include it.

He looks really good, though.

 

And yet, somehow the original was $10 cheaper and was also bigger, bulkier, great articulation, had spring-loaded missile launchers, and included a minicon that unlocked the door "wings".

 

At least in the other Armada character cases you’re getting a new figure. Not sure what the point of making him Armada Wheeljack was when this could have very easily been a full release of earth mode Sideswipe especially when the Wind Sheer figure that came with this same mold somehow went missing. Especially in a wave of only mold reuses
