I really hope we will get a Titan Tidal Wave, if not then the Fanshobby one will do, that figure looks pretty promising.

 

Idk, most of the stuff that’s inaccurate isn’t even a MP level thing. All they had to do was color the legs correctly and change the wings to actually look accurate.

 

I think you're blowing the negative feedback out of proportion here. He definitely looks great, and my only real problem is the star saber being too small. 3P will do what 3P does and make companion minicon figures to supplement Hasbro releases so I'm not too annoyed by their official exclusion, and I think most other criticisms are really just nitpicks.

Despite this, I 100% disagree with the "just buy it anyway" mentality. Only buy figures for their own sake, don't trust the nebulous promise of "buy what you don't like and we'll give you what you actually want" since it doesn't work that way. No amount of armada sales gets us closer or farther from more armada, just like no amount of guop sales got us closer or farther from real cybertron updates.

 

I'm pretty sure the shoulder cannons can rest down like in the box art and original design but it doesn't look like it can hinge down, maybe it's on a double hinge?

 

There's something oddly cute about Inferno's beast mode head and I am here for it.

 

Who knows, they might come as Core Class or micromasters. The lack of Minicon ports is a head scratcher, but not a dealbreaker. I heard someone mention they might be trying to change minicons to 5mm ports, which could explain it.

But do we know for sure that he doesn’t have a Minicon port? We’ve only seen the front and some of the side, so is it possible he has one on his back or something, or has it been confirmed?

 

Going through this thread, call me crazy but I think Starscream looks great (same for Inferno but especially Starscream).

Hard agree, glad I'm not alone. Never liked it so it being like there Thrilling 30 is great.

The digibash is better but honestly I think the OG look good still.

I don't think anyone should be surprised Starscream doesn't have his Minicon considering Override and Metroplex don't have Cyber Planet Keys. And I know I'm gonna get hate for this but I don't really care that he doesn't have Swindle, I care about how Starscream looks. Also never liked how he looked without his wing on him so I'm glad the sword doesn't turn into a blade.

I think you can, they look on a hinge or something that swives up. Cause either way it appears you can still give him is proton cannons to fold open.

 

I don't care that it doesn't have springs. I'm actually happy it doesn't. "Make the wing look worse" they fucking put in Blitzwing's animation error in his tank mode, which is an ERROR.

My problem is that if it's not G1 or BW, then they took way too many shortcuts. I stated why I don't like it, but if you don't want to read it, be my guest.

Honestly. Would it have been so hard to have a wing be detachable via 5 mm peg and add a hinge to it? That's two pieces of plastic and those two prop swords are two pieces of plastic that otherwise don't need to be there. And instead of having BOTH prop swords painted, that paint could have gone to some gray in the legs. These little important details keep standing out more and more when we know that the designers are capable of getting everything right with other figures. Why make it a Voyager when they toy does less than a deluxe?

 

I’m not referring to those nitpicks, mainly just the wing sword, spring gimmicks, and minicon stuff. The legs were actually a nitpick of mine. The thing is, none of these are bad enough to throw as big of a fit as the people I’ve seen here do so.

I’m not supporting the “just buy anyway” mentality at all; I just said that people shouldn’t buy what they don’t like. What I’m saying is to not be surprised if we don’t get more updates like this.

And no, I’ve seen the nitpicking and done some myself; I’m referring to people who straight up say they aren’t buying it for the lack of gimmicks. They can choose to do what they want, but I think it’s silly to go that far to the wall against a perfectly good representation of Starscream.

 

It is very weird to see this subset of fans that put it in their head that any toy that isn't an affordable MP is somehow shit. Kinda feels like these folks would burst a blood vessel if they were around for stuff like Classics Hot Rod.

 

I think they both look fantastic, but the movable jaw for Inferno is icing on the cake.

Do you mean the nose of the plane mode sticking out of the front of the tank? It was like that on the original toy too, ideally it should have been a cute optional thing for the legacy one
