If all the unicron trilogy stuff popping up in mainline has you interested in the shows, but youve also heard all the shows were funkin terrible, i highly suggest you check out the japanese dub of Armada: Micron Legend! the entire series is on YouTube with English subs!

while it doesnt fix everything that troubled Armada, i find the subbed version a ton more watchable. the shows pretty fun, lots of cute lil moments, it reminds me a lot of the Headmasters or Masterforce with its characters. its a bit of a slow boil, but once the show gets going its actually a pretty great watch!

Leaving Unicron Trilogy fans in the dust? Legacy isn’t even halfway through its first year and we’ve already gotten three brand new molds in Legacy that are super accurate to their appearance on screen, with more on the way.

And after years of begging Hasbro to give us that, you reject it because it isn’t 100% perfect and doesn’t have spring loaded gimmicks that haven’t been used since 2013? I hate to break it to you, but the G1 figures aren’t perfect either, nor do they have perfect toy accuracy. But they are pretty cartoon accurate, which is the same deal for the new Legacy UT stuff.

 

WTH were they thinking with that sword for Armada Starscream?!!

 

If anything I’m ready to see more wave 3 stuff. Give me TM2 Megatron.

 

Show me both of the Energon Monsters. I want to see if the Deluxe is this line’s Weaponizer and the Core is Kremzeek like people have rumored.

 

Really wish they just made both wings detachable and able to become swords (or just one big sword) rather than the butter knife they gave him. The wing becoming a weapon was cool and unique, and making both be able to do it helps with the asymmetry complaints even though asymmetry was the point of the Armada decepticons

 

Maybe prevent wings from going missing?

 

i think my big gripe (mainly with this starscream) is they really could have worked a big folding sword into his wing. we live in gods age of 5mm everything, where the last years of figures were about stapling weapons onto themselves, surely they could have figured out a convincing way to give him his wing sword that actually becomes the wing, especially at this price point. thats an iconic part of the character. they included -part- of it, but missed out on what makes it good. big kingdom tigatron gut blaster vibes here.

The minicon i could take or leave. would i love to see one? totally. do i think they could work in a micromaster tier fig at voyager price point? totally. weird example (and i know its not voyager) but look at the ss86 dinobots! theyre big beefy leader toys who managed to sneak in a minifig. Legacy Blaster came with his pack in tape and was a really amazing voyager. I just think its a little lame that the characters whos entire schtick was minicons, dont get that kind of treatment. i dont need them to activate rockets or flip out the backpack, i just want it to complete the set.

This is still an incredible looking armada starscream, and he's gonna look amazing alongside that eventual armada megs. Im happy with him as very good looking and incredibly articulated representation of an unique iteration of Screamer, but its not without its faults.

 

I’m bummed he doesn’t have the shiny see through butt like the original toy but Inferno’s any mode is so damn adorable, I love it.

 

I was referring to missile launchers and electronics. But you be you and stay mad and ungrateful because of OCD that we're getting a cool robot that happens to be from Armada.

Its not present on the boxart which shows that trench from the front of the jet, so pretty safe to assume its not present on the toy either

 

If you're only referring to specific things, you could try saying that the first time instead of making divisive, pathetic blanket statement jokes in an attempt to farm likes (which didn't seem to work out too well).

 

I will say that if they couldn't include an actual wing sword, having the sword fold under the wings would've been a good solution. But I'm really thrilled that we're getting the Star Saber with him, I was sure that was gonna be on Megatron.

 

Finally someone said it. BW is literally the continuation of g1, and the reason why somethings now exist in g1 continuity.

 

Omg sword users with fixed wrists drives me crazy. Hell yes.

I do think a 3rd party kit to replace the missing 4th panel is necessary and I'm sad that it won't spin anymore, but man oh man, does he look incredible!

I'll give Has/Tak credit... The detailing is incredible. Wow!
