I really wish they would give us 2 commanders a year, hope next year they release galaxy convoy or fire convoy, energon prime would be nice too since it the 20 of energon next year maybe a titan class optimus supreme hahaha, that includes grand convoy and energon omega supreme

From memory, they said it's possible. But instead of getting one Titan, you get to two Commanders.

It can damage clear/translucent plastic. To be safer, you might just want to use a gold Posca marker on Armada Prime. Suggest testing it out on small areas 1st or scrap plastic just to be safe.

ABS doesn't melt from Gundam Markers. Gundam Markers were, after all, created while Gundam models still used ABS. (and occasionally some models still do)

Gundam markers are a god sent. just avoid using too much white and ur okay

Nope, it doesnt melt plastic. Most of my custom figures are painted with either gundam marker or mr. hobby acrylic paints

This. I wish personally they would wait, but at the same time Hasbro isn't gonna go broke on this figure when it finally is released

Can vouch for posca, although some colours don’t translate well. Used some on Armada Starscream and the black I used worked a treat but the white looked so bad I ended up removing it.

I think gold on blue here would be alright, just wouldn’t expect it to hold up for long unless it’s left alone to completely dry. Suppose there’s ways around that but being that it would be adding paint to a part of the figure that is in constant contact/transformation I can see it coming off quickly

Leaks build hype for the figure
Now, there’s no way to order it yet,but it probably spurs some folks to order at the earliest drop

Hasbro ain’t feeling a thing from “stolen toys”

they get their bucks from target, Walmart, etc anyways, and those contracts have long been made before any YouTube connects with dark web factory workers

I don't know if nail polish/Future would provide any protection.

The other option is to sand a bit of the plastic to create extra clearance before painting...but this is an $80 toy we're talking about. Or there might be a Toyhax set that adds details including gold toes. The fact the toes have to rub against plastic for transformation is likely why they didn't paint them

I've had good results with Tamiya Gold Leaf

Add a few drops of thinner and the gold applied without leaving any noticeable brush strokes or blemishes when I used it on Kingdom Dinobot

Oh man, not him again. I don't care how many $$$ he spends to get these figures early, I don't want to watch his reviews..

Also, I pity the designers. They did such an amazing job and now they can't even be the first to show it live on camera. Everyone will have seen reviews by then which will make their epic reveal feel weird.. it's not the end of the world, but losing the "we Finally get to show moment" of something you're incredibly proud of to f+_!@ Chefatron again is probably quite discouraging :(

Personally always found using gundam markers odd, Feels the same as using a sharpie on toys. I’m surprised they get recommended so much. Would much rather use actual paint.

I hope we can get a Powermaster Optimus Prime (God Ginrai) retool out of this.

It’s a quick and easy way to do it I guess, I looked at them as an intro and less intimidating way to go into customising my figures and I’m only just beginning to dabble with actual paints. They do last just as well as paint if left alone from my experience with gundams as well. Panel lining is always a winner anyway.

I’m sure that grey all over Prime will look awesome with about a half an hour or so of work.

Gundam Markers are actual paint. (Unless it’s the fine tip lining ones but you wouldn’t colour details with those) They’re paint pens, after all.

personally i would prefer if they give us cybertron , energon and fire convoy first , ginrai got 2 toys recently , one for his base robot mode in combiner wars prime, and another one in titans return for his super mode, i am not saying not to that but i would prefer i they visit those 3 first, also a commander fire convoy would require a commander god magnus, i think cybertron could be done in leader size similar in size to ss86 dinobots

That's... pretty much impossible since they transform vastly different.

You would get better luck getting a Ginrai from Motormaster but even that wouldn't be right since you can bet that Takara is just planning to make a new Ginrai as perfectly as possible (Now the real question is if they will release it as either Ginrai or PMOP?)

Powermaster Optimus Prime. I know regardless he looks like Prime but the name Optimus Prime sells and it would for the non-TF fans or non-hardcore fans sell better. Also since it was release in the US as that.

Could see it coming with a alternate PMOP head also.
