I'm just in love with this:

Legacy Arcee turned out better than I expected. It has a great amount of articulation, solid feel and good accessories (Yes, yes, the gun doesn't look like a gun but is better to treat it as a drone or something even better that I will show later).

One of the best parts for me is that she scales perfectly with other recent Fembots and is actually much, MUCH better in terms of quality compared to either Siege Chromia and especially Earthrise Arcee (who is just a floppy and weak mess). Oh, and I put Road Rage at the back there because she also counts but is not a properly dedicated Fembot mould (and to be honest, the Kingdom Tracks mould competes with Earthrise Arcee as the worst of the WFC trilogy).

And the bike mode is so damn sexy with a great look and a very inventive transformation, it's complex but not to the point of being frustrating (which is the complete opposite of Earthrise Arcee which took me many, MANY attempts despite of how simplistic it is).

    And guess what?

Windshield can be detached! (Since none of the reviewers show this).

Although is a missed opportunity they didn't make it connect with 5MM peg so it can't be used for anything else except the backpack but hey, there are some good news and just as I suspected and hoped:

Jetpack with turbines can be created!

This automatically makes the figure a winner.

    More pics:

    Road Rocket look.

    From the back.

    No windshield.

Earthrise Arcee can't ride her since she's too big but I guess Core Class toys can:

    More comparisons ahead!

Here is with the previous Prime Arcee moulds and I honestly think I like Legacy Arcee more. There's something very elegant about the more uniform look, not to mention that it has a level of quality and materials that is more similar to the First Edition but not even the FE was perfect because the limbs could be a bit too thin as well.

And for people who said that the back kibble was better handled in the past (you know who you are):

What are you even smoking? For God's sake, the previous Prime Arcees even had butt flaps with no way to handle them.

Oh, and if the backpack bothers you, guess what?

    TA-DAA!

(And this makes me want a new Flareup from Legacy Arcee with beautiful translucent orange blades).

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with this. Can't wait for Road Rocket.

She looks fun but, for a Prime Arcee, she just looks wrong with a nose.

I think I'm gonna like this better as one of the future redecos/remolds than as Prime Arcee herself.

Can't wait for the eventual Flamewar redeco/retool.

Same. She looks good, but I think she'll look better in Flareup or Flamewar colors.

The removeable backpack is a nice feature, and I still think her bike mode is absolutely gorgeous, the better of the two modes in my eyes. But she does look better here than in other pictures, especially actually put up against the other Prime molds directly.

Like others, I'm very eager to see who she's redeco'd/retooled into. I have Botcon 2014 Flareup and Flamewar from the PRiD mold and they still both look fantastic (especially Flamewar) so I'd prefer if it were characters other than those two, but I acknowledge this is from a position of owning those specific exclusives. This mold just looks good enough to be worth owning in some capacity. Wonder how a more Prime-accurate head would look here?

Was the detachable backpack called out in the instructions?

I knew there was something off, but I just couldn't quite place my finger on it until I saw the comparison pics.

But it still looks like a neat figure, and I'm glad people are enjoying her. However, I'm definitely gonna stick with my old Prime Arcee.

And how was I supposed to know you got one of the "early samples" without the packaging, as you didn't say that in the review.

I didn't think it was necessary? I just bought this on Ebay anyway.

Thanks for all the pics. Arcee looks great! Probably the only Legacy wave 1 figure I'm genuinely excited for.

Yikes, that was a needlessly antagonistic response.

Was it? I wasn't trying to be antagonistic.

I'm a little relieved that aside from the face looking strange for Prime Arcee that this appears to be a rad mold.

I'd love to see this mold repainted as Greenlight!

I'm personally waiting to see what they do with the upcoming Elita 1 mould.

Si, loco. Con contestar que la compraste suelta y sin instrucciones bastaba. Pero, muchas gracias por mostrarla tan bien.

Eh, still the figure out of Wave 1 I’ll be skipping until it’s on clearance. Bulkhead is still in the maybe category but leaning maybe not

G1 is getting justice as far as accuracy is concerned, but Prime isn’t? Cmon man. I couldn’t care less about a unified aesthetic. I’d much rather have an updated cartoon accurate Prime Arcee even with some engineering compromises. The figure just looks wrong here and the review (while well done and well photographed) doesn’t change my mind one bit. Clearance bin pickup if that.

I get that cost is definitely a consideration, but at least for accuracy sake, didn't the First Edition figure already do the on screen designs justice? Heck, Ratchet, Vehicon, Voyager Starscream, a number of other non-FEs did, too, I recall. It's sort of like Animated, at least in my opinion, where they were such stylized designs, but the original toys miraculously nailed it, and it honestly has me feeling like they don't need modern updates. Maybe re-releases?
