I hope that WLD RDR listing isn’t G2 Wildrider, because if they started making them new characters, I’d prefer they kept doing it.

Scourge was listed in computers as “Black Convoy”, so it’s probable this is “Robots in Disguise Wildride.”

 

Pretty much my thoughts personally. The G2 Drag Strip listing for Velocitron was something like Shadow S or whatever that lined up with his new name. Also, given that he got a new name and was released as part of a subline I question if more "G2 Stunticons" are even planned.

 

They better be.

 

Rhode Island, 2025: The Hasbro HQ lies in ruins. The streets burn with purple and green flames. Civilization has been utterly destroyed. A lone traveler walks through the city and sees a wounded man on the ground. He bends down on his knees to help him and ask a few questions.

“What happened here?”
“It was horrible. There was this guy with a fox army who burned everything to the ground. He said-*cough*”

“Give me my G2 Stunticons.”

 

I thought Hasbro said they are looking for ways to eventually release all the G2 Stunticons. But doing so individually over the space of several years would be incredibly annoying. I think I'm pretty content with the idea of just keeping my CW versions anyway. Creates variety on the shelf.

 

I'm not aware if they've said if they were looking to release the rest in the future or not. But if they are I'm glad I have zero interest in G2 versions of any combiner, because getting one a year or every other year seems like a ridiculously slow burn in which most would likely lose interest. Would have been better to release the full set as a Pulse exclusive thing instead.

 

I'm gonna be bitterly amused if we get one as a Wal-Mart exclusive, one through the mainline, one from Amazon, one from Target, and Motormaster as a SG from Pulse...

 

I can totally see that as the way it goes.

I almost made that comment myself, but deleted it at the last second for fear of giving Hasbro ideas and jinxing it for the people who want them. Oh boy, now we've done it.  

 

As long as we get G2 Stunticons, I don’t care how.

 

Is Prime Skyquake the wave 2 leader ? If so, only Shrapnel, Twincast and Metalhawk haven’t leaked yet from this wave correct ? Ah yes the other cores beside Thundercracker. That would be Grimlock and Nemesis Prime ? It would be nice to get an official reveal soon before they all gets leaked. Oh well I just want to see my boy Shrapnel soon !

 

You are correct. It sucks though cause even though we haven’t seen Nemesis Prime or Twincast, it’s not hard to imagine what they look like.

 

Out of all of wave 2 I'm most interested to see what Metalhawk looks like. Kind of hoping for the G1 shell but with a robot head or for one based on the full inner G1 bot without the shell. Anything that goes to IDW is going to be a pass for me. Hate that design due to how damned skinny the character looks and don't like the way the wings hang off the arms.
