I looked at my tf shelf today, and realized about 95% of my collection has the hand held weapon in the left hand. Now I'm left handed, so it must have been an subconscious decision, but kinda strange that I would have thought about it at the time, what about your display, think your dominant hand makes a difference in your display?

 

I'm left-handed, and all of my figures with weapons have them in their right hands.

 

You wouldn't have to make that choice if they were heavily armed;

All my bots are armed with extra weapons. Every peg hole that's feasible and viable has some sort of weapons on it, so they are almost all dualwielding, if not both hands holding one giant weapon.

I'm a southpaw and it varies.

 

I'm right-handed and noticed once(I think it was due to Spychangers) that I put every figure's 1 gun in their left hand. I think there was a reason: I'm holding the figure facing towards me, and put the gun in the hand with my right hand, thus it naturally goes in their left hand.

Maybe because when I look at them the weapon is on the left side, lol.

 

Very good point. All my TFs are armed randomly left or right handed. Unless they're dual wielding, which happily seems to happen quite a lot these days.

It depends on the pose I give the figure. I don't think it's split even, but some figures are wielding left-handed, some right.

Also, it's "subconscious." You can't make an unconscious decision. You're unconscious.

 

I'm a righty and my cousin always give me shit about all my Transformers being right handed. I changed a few to be leftys now but its still about 95% right handed.

 

i prefer my bots holding weapons in their right hand. or dual wielding   im right handed

 

I tend to write with my right hand but I could go either hand with almost anything else. I tend to put weapons in my Transformers right hand though because when I shoot rifles or shotguns I prefer my right shoulder over my left and most of the melee art work I've looked at over the years tends to go weapon right hand shield left hand so melee weapons kind of stick in my mind as right handed.

 

I'm right-handed and I think it's both.

 

I'm LEFT HANDED and this world has been a bitch for left handed people. Since Scissors are right hand I have to try and make them work for left hand which is hard. Plus alot of other things are right hand too.

 

I tend to keep most of the weapons in the right hands. However, there are exceptions. Whenever I think the character is either odd or eccentric they'll become left handed. Wheeljack, Perceptor, & Blurr are left-handed. Darkmount as well.

Most of the figures're right handed, but some characters seem to be left (no true rhyme or reason).
