I voted for BWII/Neo ok the designs are nice but the story and animation are generic to the point of being so dull it fades into the sea of cut and paste anime that existed in the 90's

Nevermore wins the thread. I slept through the better part of Energon. So stale and lifeless. It was a pain to watch, more than Headmasters.

 

Used to be a time when the hate for Armada for starting that whole bad period of cartoons was strong enough that it'd get more votes than Energon. Good to see time has straightened that one out.

 

This is a tough one, probably RiD because I just can't get through it even though I have it on DVD, despite enjoying Sky Byte and Scourge, the Autobots are just so feckless. Every other TF show I've been able to get through including the Unicron trilogy and Masterforce. I almost voted BW2 / Neo but I feel I haven't really watched enough to comment.

 

When you think of it Armada is basically the closest series to G1.

It had bad animation errors, continuity mistakes and toys that were bricks.

But Armada did have a awesome Starscream. Armada was the first series i saw and therefore i like it for those reasons.

The humans (excluding Alexis) are annoying.

 

The cartoons I've seen are G1, Animated, Energon, BW, BM, and Prime. ENERGON has got to be the absolute worst. I seriously tried to watch an entire episode. I was wishing I had a gun and wishing I had the ability to point it at that whiny beeotch Kicker.

Superlink is at least kind of watchable.

 

I voted Bayverse for the lolz, although would probably have to roll with Energon for being horrible as well, although It did provide me with my currently most favorite toy. Energon Omega Sentinel would have said Supreme if the color scheme made any sense what-so-ever.  

Joke vote for aside. It is kinda hard to really pin it down one series I really hate the most as most of the series had some redeeming qualities for me.. for me it takes some time to really get that simmering hatred rolling, like the 20 some odd years it really took for me to begin to desire to wipe all traces of star wars from existence.
Most of the series I didn't like really just lost my attention and I quit watching, even Animated lost my attention, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it was bad. but yeah, Energon really kinda kicked ya in the groin while trying to watch it, more than once.

My only wonder would be is Mrgalvaprime upset that this wasn't a landslide G1 hate fest? Just out of sheer curiosity.

 

Since I couldn't vote for BW, BM and TFA at the same time, I just went with Animated for two reasons:

One: For failing to be anything more than a simply mediochre cartoon which never managed to live up to its hype

Two: The fans who rabidly set upon anyone who disliked the series. Seriously, the fandom at the time was like bukkake all over Transformers.

 

I voted Energon and it turns out most agree lol

Now I have only seen American series so my choice is from a smaller list.

I would have voted Headmasters but even though I bought the series I could not get past the second episode.

No, "It isn't G1" is a dumb reason to hate a show. "I don't want to be associated with a group of people who obsess over a show so badly that they draw scantily clad adult versions of what was as far as we knew a 10 year old girl." is about as valid a reason as I can think of.

 

If i could change my vote it would be the headmasters english dub.
I mean its cringe worthy, i mean it is litteraly just ONE guy

It maybe deep, mature and dark, but it´s NOT Transformers.

 

Energon is the worst. Kicker is such a whiny dick, the animation is garbage.

It was just annoying. It was really, really annoying.

 

There is a difference between having continuity and actually being watchable. Energon may have given us some pretty cool decepticon toys, combiners and Omega Supreme but the cartoon was just awful.
