Congratulations on your first post!
I think this page is what he was going for:

classics as a whole? prowl was utter crap. (mold not single figure)
Tricky one. So much crap to chose from and I can agree that Prowl (that awful neck) was a real let down but overall I think Whirl is the one I find the most annoying/least fun.
Sorry whirl....don't hurt me.
I've gotta go with Ironhide/Ratchet
Deluxe Optimus Prime with the swingin first action
I actually like that one for its robot mode and the fact that you can lock his waist so he doesn't go swinging around thanks to his gimmick..
Too bad the vehicle mode sucks.
As weak as that classics deluxe Optimus was, I hated the Megatron that he came with even more. His right arm alone ruined that toy for me.
FOC Jazz count?
Yep, I agree. It kind of bothers me when figures don't have both hands. (With the exception of a few, like Shockwave of cource. But at least a couple of his recent figures could with swap-out hands.)
I also have to say Universe Galvatron. Very disappointing figure. He could have been really awesome, but instead he's lanky, back heavy, hard to stand up, and he feels cluttered. Also for a deluxe, the transformation isn't all that fun, as it is rather complex for its size class.
Hot Shot is probably my least favorite, for those pieces that fit behind his back alone.
Cheetor. I had high hopes, but was seriously let down.
Tailgate. I honestly do not like the mold. Very boring, and the weakest of the Legends.
Scoop. Snore-fest. Gads that figure bores me to death.
Deluxe Grimlock. Yeah, I know it's an homage to an old figure, but it still sucks.
Classics overall: Galvatron and Ironhide/Ratchet are not all that great.
Generations counting RtS but not WfC/FoC and AoE: Wreck-Gar and his repaints could be a bit better (potential to break the handle bars drag it down). Not really in love with Trailcutter (Hoist is OK though) or IDW deluxe Megatron (Dreadwing is acceptable though).
Compared to the RTS Windcharger mold, the new Legends Tailgate is pretty disappointing.
My lord Galvatron deserves better sniff.
Armada Starscream will be my least favourite.
Scoop. That was all around a bad idea. Boring vehicle, boring robot mode, boring minicons with him.
wwwhat?!! lol.. man i absolutely LOVE the prowl mold. it's perfect for classics.. it looks great, he's fully articulated, even his ankles.. his weapon is great, and his shoulder launchers are built in.. i love it.. and i especially love takara's smokescreen.
anyways, my choice is definitely hot rod. octane (tankor), deluxe grimlock, dinobot, cheetor, hot shot, and maybe galvatron aren't too far behind.
but, for me, it's most DEFINITELY hot rod. i mean.. he's got no side to side ankle articulation,. no wrist articulation, his elbows disappear when you bend them, his shoulder articulation sucks, his head sculpt is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL, his gun is rather lame, and his spoiler doesn't look as nice as it should when he's in robot mode.. oh, and he only has two exhaust pipes on each arm, and they're not even prominent on his arms. as a kid, that was one of the coolest things about him. his exhaust guns, his robot mode back spoiler, and his head were my favorite things about the character when i was little.. and none of those design cues are represented well on this figure.
i really wish they'd take another stab at giving us a hot rod.
actually.. what i'd REALLY want is for takara to give us an in scale version of hot rod. rodimus fits in great with the rest of the masterpiece figures, but hot rod doesn't, at all. so, since i like hot rod a lot more than rodimus, i'd REALLY like a masterpiece hot rod.
Is FOC Jazz really that bad? I don't have one yet.
