Better colours but lacks the paint apps that complement the robot mode. Still think I'm going for the Kingdom figure since the Masterpiece does a better job at replicating the look of the show than the Netflix version anyway.

 

I'll just keep this one in Cheetah mode. I've actually grown to like the light blue they used on the normal release quite a bit, especially in person, and this blue actually looks too dark in my opinion.

It's also more than likely that the Primal and Rattrap pack will also stay in their beast modes.

Definitely agree. I feel like they should've gone all out for it if they were gonna try to make a more "accurate" figure.

Man, this thing is so close to perfect! Don't know why they decided to drop the leg and weapon paint. It's like someone on the design team loves watching us squirm...

 

Has anyone tried the R.E.D. Cheetor accessories on the Kingdom version?

 

FOr info, I tried g1 cheetor   weapons on kingdom and doesn’t work/go in hand

 

I'm torn on this. I definitely prefer the shades of blue and yellow here and the green cheetah eyes are a nice touch, but the missing shin/axe paint is a bummer and I think the face might be a bit too dark. Definitely not a bad deco but I dunno if I'm as eager to replace the original with it as I expected to be.

 

This is a strong moment of glad I waited. This looks so much better and to those complaining about unpainted legs, I say this, bare plastic is easy to paint and Gundam paint pens exist for those with less experience painting.

 

He does look better - and for me, the lack of blue on the shins make that weak part of the transformation less noticeable.

I’m interested to see how Tigatron handles those legs - because I’d wager that will clue us into what was cut from Cheetor for parts-count or complexity. It’s so close to being right - like maybe the hind feet were supposed to fold forward as knee-pads? Or the thighs were supposed to open up on a hinge to allow the lower cheetah legs to swing inside?

That would be great, this is definitely one of my favorite looking MP variants, but I have a sinking feeling he's just gonna be an all around duller color scheme. Darker silver, duller red, white being a lot less appealing, grey will probably be darker, but not sure how the black or blue will change.

 

I think I\'m in for this version, I just prefer the darker blue and the green beast eyes

 

I definitely prefer the Netflix colours. Even the lack of blue on the robot mode legs now looks more 'natural' to me. I do wish they'd added spots to the cheetah mode's lower legs, though.
