Where has Apollux, Jtprime or any other leaker said anything about any of the toys being lazy remolds?

 

Ooooof....*takes deep breath*....this is EXACTLY what I was afraid of. I hate to be a debbie downer for everyone who likes this, but that design (in all three modes) looks atrocious. Lanky, blocky and simply bad looking IMO. And neither of his other 2 modes look fun or convincing. Hoping my perspective changes as the official stock photos come out.
This *new* trend of upping the Titan\'s price $10 every year was already unreasonable, but this new $20 bump is simply wild. Wth.

 

Well if this was g1 Metroplex, instabuy. As is, instapass.

I always loved a lot of the character designs from the UT and hope that this is a sign we will get more modern toys from other characters. I would love to see a new Cybertron Megatron. That jet racecar take on him was awesome. I was not collecting during that time and never went back to get that one.

I don't take issue with that, no item is for everyone, I take issue with G1 fans coming into the only Titan my generation has ever had aimed at us and going "What's this weeb shit?! This isn't the real Metroplex! This is going to sink Titans!!!!!!!" based on a slide.

 

That has nothing to do with what I said, though? People (on both sides of the argument) are acting like Cyb Metroplex being made is somehow an indication that Legacy won't still have G1 characters.

 

I don't know why you're on my case but I was just giving as much info as I could on the subject, I'm not omniscient.

Cool. Looks neat and I don’t need one. My wallet and I can and will enjoy it by proxy.

 

Never had interest in this guy, even the original. Soon as the rumor was out, so was I. The new $190 price point also sucks. Obligatory "good for those that want one."

Because despite my disinterest, this does make me hopeful for some of the other AEC stuff beyond Op/Megs figures showing up throughout the line. I think we're pretty certain about Armada voyager Starscream, for example. I'll be curious to see what else pops up.

cybertron metro is about a foot tall so this has to be upscaled and or new mold based on cybertron design. you can already tell its somewhat modified just by the feet sitting flat (og didnt have rockers).

Im all for them taking old designs and revisiting, will just have to see if there is 180 worth the justification here  

 

I think this is a very calculated move from Hasbro, they know how Titans generally perform and have made appropriate changes.

And if this is the end what a high note.

 

The fact that people are being so negative about them making a new Cybertron Metroplex is making me want to buy him

 

Someone straight up showed him an image of SS jazz and he said that knockout is the same as jazz just with a slightly remolded back and hood.

Right off the bat- already I have an idea that “Legacy” isn’t what I thought it would be.

Can someone clue me in to which TF fiction this Metroplex comes from?

 

Just cos this ain’t g1 doesn't mean the titan line will bomb. Different takes on characters every now and then is good.
