I hope there's some GoBot repaints in the future, Crasher from Dragstrip, Tank from Slammer, and maybe Cy-Kill from Arcee, also Path Finder from Cosmos.

 

Obviously, the current line's all planned out, but if they expand further into the multiverse, I'd really like to see RiD2001 revisited in some fashion (either a new Build Team or Team Bullet Train would really rule), or failing that, the Rescue Bots.

 

You know... since they're already touching on Aligned with Prime... it'd be really cool if they revisited WfC/FoC. I know we already got some of those designs but many of them were hampered by size class choice and budget constraints. Plus there's plenty of characters we didn't get a shot at.

 

Black Convoy is rumored.

 

I hope it's BW Megatron, but with the cloak ability.

We don't know, but it's more likely that she is since that's her legacy gimmick from g1

Just be careful with PE Optimal Optimus. One of the pegs from the arm panels of my copy broke off right out of the package, considering the frikking figure cost me around $170, it was pretty painful.

 

Maybe one of the Target exclusives is a G1 Dino from Mirage.

 

From what I saw the problem with Siege wasn't that they weren't Earth modes, but that they weren't Cybertronian enough. Unlike the designs from the WfC/FoC games the Siege designs mostly looked like stylized Earth vehicles.

 

Prowl and Sideswipe looked like regular earth cars, I would hardly call them cybertronian alt modes.

 

I was making a joke because it's pretty clear that at least for now, HasTak aren't willing to add in other styles to the generations line other than G1 and adjacent, evident by the Prime updates added to the line altered to match their aesthetic. You really think the WfC/FoC designs would fit the G1 aesthetic any more than Prime? They'd be changed to match it if they were to add those versions, and probably end up fairly close to the Siege versions.

 

Exactly. That was the problem with a great deal of Siege.

 

Actually no. I don't think they'd change the aesthetic of any figures from WfC/FoC because unlike Prime those games were already in a G1 styled aesthetic. So much so that many of the original WfC game figures were released as Cybertronian versions of the G1 characters by Takara for their release in United. Just like I don't expect too many changes to the UT stuff we're getting for the same reason.

 

Let’s not forget the fact that WFC, the game, was originally envisioned as a prequel to G1 before Hasbro decided to toss it in with Prime instead.
