Doesn’t necessarily have to be during Legacy, maybe in the next line when this one is done.

 

It'll depend on the way Menasor comes off for me, especially design, combined height, and qc. I can't see Superion as shorter than Menasor, so if he's taller and the design is good, I'm in for the Aerialbots. I love Defensor, but I'd prefer my planes first, then him, the Technobots, and Bruticus, in that order.
My personal preference is that Menasor is the same height as the CW combiners so I don't have to replace more than one.

 

Yeah I meant the line that would take up the WFC/Legacy place. Just obviously whatever line that’d be.

 

I’d personally go for superion first over defensor anyway.

 

And you know that they won't stop at Defensor if both he and Menasor sell well.

 

Honestly out of the three main autobot G1 combiners I much prefer Defensor and Computron over Superion.


When I was a kid I hated the episode where the aerialbots were made and I think that soured my opinion on them. Still a good design that I’d pick up, though lol.

 

As long as I eventually get my Bruticus I’m happy!

I'm not too crazy for Superion and the Aerial Bots (well, unless they do want to try Maximus for a serious change) but my 2001/RID Ruination loving heart is always down for a Bruticus, same for the Maximus variety if they really want to go all in on the 2000's.

 

I’m sure Hasbro is aching to release more combiners like Devastator.

I don’t remember. Just that episode was one I didn’t like and I think because it was about the aeriralbots being made it just made me associate them with an episode I didn’t like. Don’t remember why I didn’t like it as it’s probably been a decade since I watched that episode last.

 

I will admit some of the aerial bot’s personalities makes them unlikable.

 

I don’t remember. I also think in the case of Superion and Menasor their alt modes are all very similar (5 planes and then 4 cars and a truck) whereas with the others there’s more of an alt mode variety (hell one of Defensors limbs is a giant motorcycle which is sick as hell, scale can suck it).

Lol that’s who I thought of when I typed that out. I do find it weird how much he cares about scale (not in a bad way) because if somethings sick as hell who care if it’s 1:60 or 1:100, you know?

 

Agreed, scale is like graphics in a video game to me. The least important thing about it.

 

Yeah for me there is important stuff but it’s not that concrete. It’s more “bumblebee should be shorter than Optimus”.

 

I think I'd like Windblade a lot more if she had a different head, I'm just not a fan of the whole geisha aesthetic

So we are getting a Dragon Megatron in Legacy, it seems. If you want a newer Optimal Optimus figure to go against him with, is there a possibility that one might come soon? Or is the POTP Optimal Optimus your only option?
