Another speculation I have. What are the chances of Tarantulas being the Transmetal one?

I've read that they're most likely part of 2023's SS lineup; as Cactus mentioned that "we shouldn't expect them anytine soon" (if I remember correctly)

Or you overestimate Hasbro. Maybe all they reveal is Wave 5 and nothing on Legends.

I'm sort of kidding, but how will that work? Can they reveal Legends WITHOUT revealing Wave 5 first? Are they just going to reveal both at the same time?

Since Blaster is apparently going to be in the Legacy line, are any of his cassettes going to be released as well? Also, would we get an Optimal Optimus figure to go along with the Dragon Megatron?

I suppose my thoughts are that if Deathsaurus can also become a combiner torso, that would help to sell the Destrons as well, since a good amount of a figure's sales capacity can be tied up in how it interacts with other figures in the line, and combiners are an obvious example of this. I don't know ow much engineering it might take to give Deathsaurus the ability to become a combiner torso, but I figure that it's an unobtrusive thing even if added, since if you don't like it, you can choose not to use it.

I have a feeling Dragon Megatron will look like an organic dragon and not Transmetal 2.

We got an Optimal Optimus about five years ago in PotP. It sucked.

I can't see them doing another though!

Neither did the fallen, shockwave, Cogman, Satellite soundwave, or half the constructicons. Yet they got/are getting toys.

Optimal Optimus came out in 2018 so a little over 3 years ago now. They could definitely redo him with better everything in Legacy but I am not sure if he would be a leader or commander due to his size and parts count. Could very well be in no-man’s land like Armada Prime.

I don't think many would consider that figure definitive at the moment. Why can't you see them doing another figure of him?

How is he no man's land? It also doesn't look extremely complex to me. I don't see why he cannot be a commander. If Hasbro wants to celebrate Beast Wars, it seems like they should do his figure as well.

I'd rather they just reissue the original Optimal Optimus toy than try and take another crack at a new mold.

I think Optimal Optimus is just one of those characters who could really benefit from a new figure. The technology should be there for it, IMO.

Make a crocodile Megatron to go with that, and I think the fans will bite, maybe even literally.

God, I hope not. I have him and he’s just not fun. The gimmick just hurts the figure too much, in my opinion. Also he could use modern engineering.

My thought process is that wave 5 will just show up on Pulse. Just like Wave 4. We will see the first wave of Legacy plus Ravage and the Reformatting Galvatron. That’s 12 figures total. Which is in line with previous Hasbro online cons.

I'm not saying it's impossible. I just wouldn't expect it for ANOTHER five years.

One of the only molds I've returned to the store. Truly a miserable design.
