Me too, especially if he deploys a minibot (RotF comics Rumble?) from his ramp. But I'll take any modern-engineering (with hands/claws) voyager or leader Osprey bot.

 

Just add hinges at the base and mid-way up the helicopter blades and turn those into his robot hands.

That's always how I interpreted what his "hands" were supposed to be.

Wait I just remembered that when wreckgar first talked about this figure that will give the good ending, someone brought up animated shockwave/ longarm prime. In which he said “that’s the closest so far.” We now know it’s a movie guy, what if the voyager is Longarm?

Though it's weird, he said this would be the good ending for everybody, not just bay fans, yet I really only see bay fans getting anything out of this so far. Though to be fair, I'm sure there's some kind of rippling effect this could have with Hasbro.

True about a big warpath, though he's always been a smaller tank to me.

But yeah, someone asked to specify whether it was just for bay fans, or if everyone would get something good out of it, and he responded that it wasn't just bay fans.

I'm not a bay fan, but who knows, I might be interested in a SS Longarm. It'd be even better if he could fit with my typical generations figures.

Last I checked SS Thundercracker was a repainted TLK Nitro Zeus with a retooled head, and a TRU exclusive on top of that, so that's not really valid in my book. At least not on the level of a full blown new mold actually made for Studio Series.

Oh, so the only qualification for a Studio Series figure is to be an inarticulate accessory? Because that Steeljaw was a statue included with Leadfoot's SS figure, not an actual full figure. Likewise, the G1 Cassette Dinos were included with a Bumblebee probably for the whole 80's theme that package set had.

On the other hand, I guess that's how you get Galvatron then. He simply won't transform.

Hey, I'm just trying to make sense of conflicting information.

 

He never said they weren’t interested, from what I recall AOE and TLK were on the back-burner since their toys didn’t sell as well as the original trilogy. He even backpedaled with new information that Galvatron was indeed on the menu, just far off.

Also, Dinobots are transforming dinosaurs, regardless of them coming from AOE they have a good chance of selling. I can see the delay in producing them since they’re likely both (Scorn and Slug) gonna be Leaders and they gotta be judicious about them. But those two easily could’ve come out in the first few years of SS and sold just fine, I bet. Grimlock and Stinger were in the first wave, after all (though Stinger and Lockdown are easier to make than big ass Dinobot’s, again).

Ooh good call.

I’ll buy a big ass tow truck in a heartbeat if it means getting DOTM Warpath.
