When Spoiler pack 2 was first solicited it was. After a couple weeks Walmart made Hasbro do a partial Buy back because of the terrible performance of the 1st one. That’s why it was offered to fan Channels.

The 2nd spoiler pack preformed very well at fan channels.

Since Nightbeat never appeared in the cartoon and his toy head already came out in Titans Return, hopefully they'll go with comic-accurate shades. And hopefully they take some cues from his MTMTE design.

Assuming Titans Return compatibility my plan is to buy the required toys for the following:

    Nightbeat with toy head
    Nightbeat with comics head
    Siren with toy head
    Siren with comics head
    Hosehead
    Go Shooter
(Minerva when they surely make her)

    Well, I figure:
-His legacy alt mode doesn't look like the Siege alt mode
-Siege alt modes are all Cybertronian modes
-He has his G1 alt mode after the Cybertronians got to Earth

Considering that, I don't think it's much of a stretch. I think it's more of a stretch to want Siege Crosshairs to stand in for it though.

Of course, that's why I want him to. ;-D

I agree. Other combiners being CW Devvy size does put them into nuCHUG scale. But I'd want G1-accurate scaled Stunticons before we get a G1-accurate scaled Menasor, personally.

Well here's how I see it:
    -NuCHUG is typically cartoon/comic-accurate
-The lone representation of a "Targetmaster Junior"(Spinister) does not have smaller partners(Hairsplitter/Shrute & Singe)
-Hasbro may not distinguish Juniors from the others gimmick-wise
-Smaller Headmasters would render them not backwards-compatible, something Hasbro stated that they would not try to do with their updated legacy gimmicks
-The Titanmasters & Headmasters are already out-of-scale with the unified scale, so no need to scale them down to child height(HMs are already there in 1:35)

Though maybe Hasbro will want to do these differently. We'll see!

Wait wait... you mean the character who was the only regular animal to be intelligent enough to know and realize what was going on but did nothing about it because "it didn't effect him directly"? Until it did effect him and it was too late to save the only animal on the farm he gave a damn about. Benjamin is written as a tragic character and a warning of inaction. He's not meant to and nor should he be considered an inspiring character. If you find him inspirational then you missed the point of the character.

First look at this thread. Glad to see there’s a bit more variety coming. Some Masterforce (Hopefully that night beat gets a Minerva remold), some straxus, some Armada.

I don’t see the point in a leader class TFP Optimus when there’s so many other Optimus designs that are so much more interesting (like that still MIA armada Optimus). But, hey, I’m happy that TFP fans will be getting something. I’d definitely like to see a CHUG version of his upgraded form.

Cant deny my utter frustration at the lack of CHUG style Animated characters though. We are just gonna jump from Armada to TFPrime and ignore all that important history? No Lockdown? No Lugnut? No Sentinel Prime? At least I can pretend the TFP Bulkhead is the original animated version, but I know which version I’d prefer.

That's interesting to know! Though the point I was making was that Spoiler Pack 2 shouldn't be considered one of Pulse's "Partner Exclusives," since when it did release, it was carried by fan channels in general, not just Pulse and Walmart.

    Yes please....

Hated the Headmaster gimmick on them, so never picked them up when I started collecting again partway through Siege, even though I would love having Monsterbots on my shelf!

I wouldn't mind, I absolutely love the monsterbots, and have all three Takara legends versions, but I'd gladly take new one without the headmaster gimmick.

I wouldn't bet on it because Selects doesn't have a huge budget for retooling and they might figure they'll save money by having all jr cars be the same basic toy. They might decide to do Nightbeat and Goshooter mainline with Minerva and Siren for Selects, as two different basic cars, but I would set my expectations to them all sharing a mould. Four characters from one might just be too tempting.

Anyway, I'm happy to get more headmasters. Later G1 is my favourite part of G1 by far and moving through these lesser groups makes it more likely they'll tackle stuff like the double targetmasters.

I'm thinking it could be that the deal Hasbro made with CN with TFA at the time may be preventing new TFA toys CHUG or not from being made at least for a while along with any new Animated media in general without CN's consent which knowing who CN are will never happen. I'd love to see some new TFA toys too so at this point we'll have to pray that the BW, Armada and TFP characters sell great next year for Hasbro to dive more into other TF eras sooner or lateas well as work something out with CN to give us new Animated toys and media even.

I'd like to see an RID2015 Strongarm that gets a minor retool (head and chest at least, maybe grill and rollbars too) into GoBots Small Foot.

Based on how they've done it in the past, and the release of Bug Bite, they'd probably make her a Gears redeco/retool, like they did before in that box set/comic.

Granted, RID15 Strongarm would be a much better choice for her.

I'd be thrilled with any Strongarm. Retool Hound like some folks have mentioned on the boards, new mold, whatever.

I can't answer this without breaking the rules, sadly. But I did not say inspirational.

    Indeed!

I pointed this out before, but in Earthrise, there are 4 Deluxe car molds in the main, non-exclusive retail release - Cliffjumper, Wheeljack, Sunstreaker, and Runamuck. All of them with a very similar "car roof chest, car hood feet" design. None of them shared a mold with each other. And those aren't even the only car molds in Earthrise! This is outstanding progress for Hasbro since the days of Combiner Wars, where we got like 18 different variants of the Dead End mold.

It's getting better, y'all. Trust me.

I want to see her transform into a police pickup truck personally. It's would help set her apart from Prowl, Streetwise, and other police car TFs, and also play into her bulkier look.
