They have made many Starscreams for the movie line for both number 1 and 2. Next up will be Leader Starscream. Even if they make more Starscreams for the third movie toy line do you think that the Leader Starscream will be the last Starscream toy from the movie line you will ever buy?

 

I can see hasbro shrinking this mold to a voyager like they did leader prime, but leader screamers detail will be untouched to any voyager remold of him

Well, we might get some new Starscream figures in the TF3 line, so I wouldn't go as far as to say that Leader Starscream will be the last Movie-verse Starscream figure I will ever buy.

 

That depends if the Starscream for Transformers 3 (Voyager and/or Leader) will be better that before!

Where is the option for those who aren't planning to buy it? I have no desire to buy it. I plan to try to get the g1 deco movie starscream to better go with my Skywarp and Ramjet

Most likely yes. Even if a better one comes along, it would have to be significantly different before I even consider buying it. I've yet to buy Optimus ver. 2 because I'm happy with the first.

 

The Voyager IS Starscream to me. Great mould and good details, and affordable. Can't afford to be goin' for every toy they spit out, so this is it. Unless they can really pull off a better Starscream than the ROTF Voyager, then I'm set.

Not to hate on those who like Leader Starscream, but he really doesn't look that great at all to me. He doesn't look as accurate as the Voyager, and is a bit awkward with his big bulky body yet gimpy legs... then again that's what Starscream is.

 

I also think that the voyager version is just fine....now, I ve never hold the Leader one in my hands, so I coudnt say he is not the greatest thing out.

 

The Leader is an excellent toy. I held off on the Voyager for him and having had the time to play around with one, well worth the wait. He is to me the single best version of Movie Starscream to date.

I won't rule out the possibility of an even more advanced / unique design coming along. It may not be a case of topping it, though, more like a case of a different mold with new gimmicks to reflect what he will do in movie 3. Because you never know what Starscream might have or do in that one.

 

tried both the voyagers, sold them off, they were horrible

got the leader, and wow this is like a masterpiece almost, no wrist articulation, but its damn nice

Not buying Leader SS at all. Nice fig; just don't want to drop $40 on him. Activators SS on the other hand is is bought on site. Awesome semi-Super-D figure.
