Here's a little project I am excited to get off the ground: Leader Optimus Prime! This prime will feature my new quick connect system for "Swiss army knife" forearm weapon deployment. It's amazing how many gadgets and weapons Prime can stuff up his sleeve and this is my way of interpreting that in an action figure! PLEASE VIEW THE VIDEO FOR A MORE DETAILED DEMO! Dark of the Moon Optimus Prime LED WIP.wmv - YouTube When done he will have a arsenal of LED equipped weaponry that can easily be swapped out: 2 x Battle Blades 2 x Battle Hooks 2 x Articulated hands 2 x Closed fists 1 x Battle Axe 1 x Shield 2 x Small blasters w/light and sounds 1 x Large cannon with light and sounds 1 x BFG w/ lights/sound/motion Also as you can see in the video I have adapted the quick connect system to allow swapping between heads with open battle mask and closed, combat ready battle mask. Lots and Lots to do still, this will be an ongoing WIP showcasing just about every trick I know. On the menu is also a Trailer that will transform into a weaponized ring/battle platform, house Prime's flight tech, and house components for armored "ultimate" styled mech suit. Yeah, the jacks are TRS which means Tip/Ring/Sleeve. This gives 3 paths. I am using tip(+) and ring(-) for most of the stuff. I will utilize the sleeve for some of the larger guns so I can trigger them simultaneously when mounted on the weapons ring trailer! TRS jacks are typical headphone stereo jacks, 1/8 inch diameter.

Good thinking! That scene in the movie where he punches with the knuckles was awesome. I'd love to see those done in a custom...
