Hmm, I think this qualifies as news! This is the first in package shot I've seen of him, and it confirms he won't have chrome like his Japanese counterpart..
There was a official image from Hasbro of him in package a while ago. It also showed a couple of images of his robot and vehicle mode.
Premium Optimus Prime should look better in person or when we eventually have some quality photos posted.
I asked them for better pics, some close ups. They usually put them up the next day anyways, back of box and a closer shot of it in package.
Thats why I am just painting mine, got a custom metal sword-movie accurate to boot, and dont have to worry about his big "ears" hanging out of the top of the cab. lol They could have made that go down a tad I think.
ok, I just got back to a computer from the weekend. Does the Japanese version of the regular Prime have Chrome as well, or is the Prime with the gun just a Premium figure with the gun?
The Prime figure in the pic without all the Chrome, and with gun, is the first Leader Prime released. As far as I know, that one is the same as Hasbro's version.
