Since he's the flava of the month, I decided to tackle ol' Ironhide! Still working on the feet, and definitely not sure the doors are going to stay on the shoulders either, so things will change a little bit before the build is complete. Currently working on both of his arm cannons (tryin to get the sumabeotches ta light up LED style) When he's done, it'll look alot like Bad_Karma_99's version, as I really liked his griity take on the character. Mods so far: Made Faceplate removable (reattaches via tiny rare earth magnet) Removed back pack/hood built up the back with parts from feet/arm kibble Removed the Tires from the legs Affixed tires to the back of the thighs Built-up his lower legs/feet with misc. parts Added custom hands (courtesy of Zildjian- this guy is a master caster when it comes to these bad boys!) that have full 360 degree wrist movement and articulated fingers Still more to do - Ball joint his head, finish the primary build and paint this sucka! Nice, are These hands are Oversized alternatorhands? Do the Fingers have individual Joints? Are they bendable? Man those Look Great!
Thank you sir Unfortunately not, but as I just want a nice leader Ironhide for my display case, he's only needed to be in robot mode anyhow. When finished I would like to have something along the lines of what Frenzy_rumble, Zildjian, and JCartworks have created. Thanks mate! Not alternators, but you have seen them before- MP Optimus hands cast by Z. when he was doing them awhile back. I was fortunate enough to get a few sets, and if he starts doing them again I'll grab at least 3 more sets of these. I think they go with Ironhides overall look very well.

Update! Just a small update before paint goes on. Added his arm cannons and modified ball joint on his head for more articulation.

Big Update! Mostly done, just a few more tiny copper paint details and a few custom decals will seal the deal. Oh. and I'm gonna add a small gattling gun to his right arm that will sit on top (just to level out the appearance for both arms
Thanks! I've been takin my time on him to get alot of little details and a good likeness to the movies detail images (not going for 100% screen accurate though, as I'm just having fun and working with what I have).
Thanks guys! Ever since finishing him up at the end of last year, he's been my desk-side companion. Ironhide was a instant fave for me from the movie lines. He's just bad@ss. My heart skipped a beat when I saw his death, and by a cheap shot no less, definitely not the way a warrior should ever go out. Thanks Zac!
