It's cute but they missed the mark with the Naught/Nice lists, and that gross Pepsi vending machine. Everyone knows Coca Cola and 7-Up are way more Christmas than Pepsi!

Even though I'm a sloppy painter, I much prefer the truck this way.
That and I should touch it up and clean up the ink spots.

Thundercracker on the nice list tho... Kinda understandable. Can't be that evil if you love and protect doggies.

Also love how Bay Wheelie is on the naughty list while G1 Wheelie is on the nice..

While it may not have been intentional, I really like the detail of having his fifth wheel on his back
like another Prime I'm very fond of.

 

This figure has grown on me so much lately. It's made me want laser prime. Is he as good?

 

Laser Prime's great! Barring the hands.
While the DNA kit for Laser Prime isn't necessary, it helps.

 

Almost wish I felt like taking this shot again and turning on the tree lights but I'm too lazy!

 

The holiday Prime mold is better than Laser Prime by a decent amount.

 

The thing I love about G2 and Volvo Prime is where their cabs end up!

Wish they'd do another Prime in the same way they did TR Prime.
Cab nose arms are unique to Primes outside of Bayverse and TFP Optimi.

 

I would have liked the 5th wheel to be a little tighter, the blaster fits but it's a little too loose to hold it properly. I guess that's the trade-off for the trailer hitch.

 

Funny, it's the opposite for me. 5th wheel holds it just fine and firm, but hands cant hold it because of how tight the fit it is.

 

Yes, I got mine a couple of days ago. I haven't transformed it yet, enjoying the truck form, so comments below based on that.

I had a worrying moment when I thought he was missing one of his smoke-stacks. Then I checked the pictures and realised this model lorry has just the one. Silly me. 

Truck looks great. The trailer seems better proportioned with this style cab than the ER or Siege. The trailer looks too small with them, but just about right with this.

My only criticisms:

I wish they had broken up the colour a bit more with the trailer, but that's an issue that this mould trailer has in all incarnations including Earthrise Optimus Prime and Nemesis Prime. Really felt this Christmas version needed it more though. Keep white as the primary colour but just a bit of red and/or green included would have been nice.

The part of the cab that goes under the trailer (not sure what the correct terminology is) is too long. It seems more noticeable than ER and Siege.This is not a big issue, since that bit is mostly under the trailer anyway. I can see it houses more of the robot parts than previous moulds where that part is basically just the legs (and they're a bit too long as well) so that bit of extra length is probably required for this format.

Overall, great! I'll set up my small Christmas tree today and he'll have pride of place near it. (Truck mode to start with, like just arriving, then robot mode later.)
