    More like a preview of Combat Hero Prime.


    Also I've noticed this is like the 4th time we've seen a G1-ish Prime take the form of a long nose cab; G2, Combat Hero, Star Convoy(apparently that guy is G1 Prime, too) and now Volvo Prime.

    OK, so ignoring that mine was borked straight out of the packaging Christmas Prime is pretty great! Transformation's very different for an Optimus and does a lot of cool things to get from truck to robot mode. As a Transformers Enjoyer and Christmas Enthusiast I am quite satisfied.

    Before the first transformation. Little did I know my day was about to go from merry to not-very-merry.

    Agreed! But the shins are a tricky bit. I was considering chroming them because they're the gas tanks, but having chromed shins would end up looking odd. So I'll leave em as is, and besides, Prime has pulled off black and red just fine before. ;)

    It's interesting to note that, at least to my knowledge, Volvo Prime and RTS Laser Prime are the only Primes, maybe even TF figures to have double stack tires AND be day cabs.

    You know what it’d be kinda cool if they did movie style Prime hook weapons but in candy cane colors or as candy canes.
