Oh shoot your right. I didn't even see that somehow. I guess my brain was just thinking that it looked like bbm ss prime or something.

 

I think it’s just the early reports suggested this was a heavy retool and the figure coming with the ER cab further gave off the impression. But no, it’s been confirmed as an entirely brand new mold.

 

If it is the ER rifle gangmoulded with the trailer that it looks like (and if you want to stow it externally rather than internally as others have suggested), then it can fold in half and one can use the side peg slotted into one of the long slots in the underside there to stow it on the exterior of the trailer without looking like a "lipstick".

 

This figure is so weird. Why does this guy actually look proportionate? Might be that the arms don't look stubby, & the chest windows don't look as squashed, cus it looks like he still has long slender legs like ER prime. Also why does this figure have the most accurate G1 Prime head I've ever seen on a chug figure? There has to be more to this right? Like there's no way this isn't used for something else?

I kind of want it, but I sort of wish they'd release him in either normal Prime colors, G2 Hero colors, or make it a homage to movie Prime, I'd love that. Cus honestly I'm kind of digging this way more than the Earthrise figure.

I wonder how they're going to top ER Prime. I guess they could get rid of the butt wheels and give him this head. But that's it, as far as I'm concerned.

I would have been more excited for this if they'd revealed it in December, or at least closer to Black Friday. Christmas, wait your damn turn! I like Magnificus a lot.

I don't normally do Christmas Kitsch, but I might bite on this one since next year looks to be extremely light on leader-class figures I actually want.

 

I’m wondering if this shares engineering DNA with Legacy Motormaster. There are several things going on here that remind me of that toy like the way the wheels end up on the back, where the head falls in alt mode, and the front of the cab forming the legs.

 

ER Prime is an interpretation. SS 86 for the most part is much closer to the animation (Ironhide comes to mind

 

If he was the Grinch, he’d learn absolutely nothing. Everyone would stare at him and he’d say “What are you all standing around for? Get back to work!”. Then Grimlock would dress in a Santa suit and secretly plot to overthrow him.

 

Prowl would definitely be Ebenezer Scrooge.  

 

Nice clear pictures. Yeah, this is gonna be Hero Prime. Just install the waist backwards so you have to do the classic 180 and you're there. Still I stand by it's a fun way to reveal the pretool.

While I doubt an air pump gun will happen, if he gets the trailer it'd be a great place to keep some form of large missile to allude to it.

 

Yeah I think this guy is hilarious. Put him next to Road Hauler and you've got a perfect seasonal duo.
