Okay, with my obsession of creating a perfect scale with my CHUG Transformers I inevitably created different versions of the heavy hitters along the years. Tonight I present you with which I consider to be my perfect version of a leader class Megatron. I used a BPF KO OS Siege Megs for his awesome shape, mold, quality and proportions but turns out he was way too short in height compared with my MP29+ and my Igear Faith Leader, both representing the ultimate leader class versions of the characters according to my taste. With that in mind I extended his torso and now he is perfect to overthrone my old chunky CW Megatron. I may do some changes in the future like giving him articulated hands and maybe more red detailings on his body, but for now he is all I ever wanted for a true Leader Class CHUG Megatron. The cannon is a G1 adapted piece and the extra abs bit was scratched from junk.
    I hope you guys enjoy.

Aha, that's what he needed! I also though Siege Megs was nearly perfect except for his height, and none of the fixes I've encountered so far really looked right. This does. His tank mode looks better than any of the previous fixes I've seen, too - nicely done!

Thanks for clarifying. My takeaway from this is how well it fixes the proportions, which ought to work for either the original or the KO.

    Joey, that looks fantastic!
Completely organic and flows with the look of the figure. If I wasn't familiar with it I'd have trouble figuring out what you did.
Also, good to see you still here and customizing ;)

Thank you so much, gentlemen. I found the perfect bit to be extracted from an old Mc Donald's happy meal gift toy I found in my kid's toybox (Shhhsh! If my wife finds out I'm dead!) and turned out that the color matched perfectly too.

This is the happy meal toy I'm talking about, all I did was cut out the area outlined in red, then I sanded down the edges and adapted the muchroom peg for the waist and voila. A hell of a job, but it paid off. @spoonman : Good to see you in full throttle too bud!

This is brilliant, I love it! Question, are the gap fillers standard on that OS Megatron, or were they added? Thanks!

It just occurred to me, that the original size Siege Megatron, reminds me of a Joe Pesci character! lol

Thank you! I wish I could develop projects for 3d printers too man, that would be awesome.

Thank you!! Forearms gap fillers are standard indeed and they make the figure even better.

LOL Now I'm imagining Joe Pesci with a bucket on his head. LOL

Great work! I have this figure on the way. I plan on sticking the original Seige head on this body. Always thought the head was a tad too big on the original.
